Dont know if i believe this guy or not, Its for sure a crazy story to make up if he is indeed making up pretty weird that the women who found him and had him interviewed supposedly was found dead of seizure in her hotel room some time after. If that is in fact true pretty fishy situation, but then why not kill the kid?
