Over here all you get is told to go to bed for a few days and drink plenty of fluids when possible.

Wednesday night my child threw up at college four times at a University near Greenville and Clemson SC. He went to urgent care Thursday morning. He had two IVbags, antibiotics, and anti nausea pills issued to him.

There is another massive recall of Romaine lettuce for ecoli.
I wonder if this could be it too.
I've had it, and it sounds like what your son has. Horrible horrible, and wish him a very speedy recovery.

Health officials on state and county levels alike assumed that the mystery gastro-intestinal illness that closed every school in Mesa County School District 51 was norovirus because of the typically tell-tale signs of vomiting and diarrhea.

But on Monday, the first test for the disease came back negative.

They aren't ruling it out, but wow.
