My apologies, I misread your words then. I tended to notice the key talking points of higher wages and better social income structures. So for that, I once again apologize.

Yes I'm quite aware of the path the US America is on, like I said it's all valuation based. When I was born, my ss number was a fairly confident factor that I will produce X amount on average in my lifetime. These calculations of our ss numbers are still being made, and they factor in everything, producing a rough estimate of your worth to the country.

As a person that actually does like this country, despite its many flaws, I do find it offensive and intrusive that by being born I am automatically included into a number that determines the health and wealth of the land I was born n and occupy. If I wasn't happy with this country I could pack up and leave at any time, and I think that is a factor that is definitely underestimated with current US trends.

Eventually this political BS will reach overwhelming proportions and cause either a mass exodus from the US, or a 2nd civil war, either way culminating in a massive population loss in the US America. It will likely lead to a split of the union creating 2 or 3 separate nations. We are literally heading down the path of the USSR in the 80's, but for more compounded reasons than just spending yourself to death.

How does ATS still call itself a conspiracy site?

The Trump presidency is a literal goldmine of corruption and deception. It is 1984 being played out right in front of you naked shaking its tail feathers.

A business man come politician come president, is far far less of a conspiracy than the entire democratic agenda against him.

I mean, the absolute manner in which these attacks have been played, certifies a bona fide entire other world of deception.

And all in the media and social media, for all to see. yet, still accepted.. god only knows why. how.

If you prefer to see Trump as the sole creator of all of this, you fall short, somehow... this is 100% the status quo rallying against and infiltrator, who has done more for your country and continues to do so, despite these attacks.

My head shakes... solemnly..

I think I've just experienced the truly great thing about this site, really. For you and I just went from misunderstanding to a wealth of understanding. Yes, I have felt the very same way, and that is where I speak from, and think we should ALL be speaking from. Your referencing of knowledge of valuation of GDP and social security numbers, TO ME, meant you fundamentally understood the "slavery," labrat, paradigm we are ALL experiencing. However, to say it quite that clearly is also a way to be labelled as socialist, or worse......just off, crazy. However, those of us who understand those finer aspects, also understand the slavery aspect is true, to some extent, in every way I've detailed here. There are fine lines associated with being a shaman, and schizoaffective, for instance. A prophet in one paradigm is just a crazy screwhead in another. And yet, that STRESS is how true change and ascendance happens, necessarily.

Suffice it to say, I consider myself human, living a human experience, and regard and respect with compassion others suffering the same. I write in that context. I don't always have a solution, and therefore, don't want to be labelled as socialist or anylabelchooseitnow. I'm not sure what the solutions are, but I do see the problems quite clearly. And I understand, comprehensively, that the current paradigm, whatever it may be, hosted, digitally overlaid, whatever, is sacrificing our humanity, and what that means. And I HATE that. There are no new Mozarts, Beethovens, artists, musicians.....even our science is increasingly questionable in its ethics (thinking of the Asian doc who DNA spliced AIDS patients to produce children in the search for a vaccine, supposedly.)

CRISPR, and all that means to our populous of HUMANITY. These are HUGE questions, and laws and ethics, etc. aren't even beginning to keep up and address it. Every good technological devolopment has an increasingly very dark side, as well. I see these times as extremely dangerous, as I said before, a tipping point, where we will either revive and revere what it is to be human or destroy it, forever. I write what I do because these things matter to me. I am a parent. I want her to have a better life than I ever had, and yet, this is more and more out of my reach.

Having said all that, this is way beyond the scope of this thread, but I think what we see happening now vis a vis our "government" does represent that tipping point in a very specific way, and yet.....it's being utilized in all kinds of other ways, to control, divide, etc. Each side of this current political debate and impeachment agenda has really done the same, from my POV. They are sort of cancelling each other out. They're all corrupt. They all have their agendas, and meanwhile, as a disabled senior citizen, I live on $700 per month, and Congress just voted down an increase for SSDI folks of $300, while then voting themselves a raise.....LOL. My life would be inherently different living on $1100 as opposed to $700. I don't have health care or insurance. I have Medicaid that will fix a broken bone but that's about it.
I live in a 3 bdrm. apt for $1500 per month, and in between roommates that can reliably pay rent (which are few and far between) I Airbnb the third bedroom. My city has just passed an ordinance that I can't do that anymore legally. I can't even advertise for free on FB for a roommate. How are people like me, that worked very hard all our lives, supposed to continue living? I've been in shelters. It's not safe there, either.

That's the basis of the things I want to draw attention to. I may not have answers, but I do know the problems.....and I also know that every morning I wake up, get to brew coffee and see the sunshine is a good, friggin day and am thankful for that. These people that claim to represent us, the yous and mes, prob haven't ever had to live like that, don't even know what that's like. And they vote themselves raises, while making sure the rest of us have to struggle daily to survive. What I surely DO know is this country can NEVER claim greatness under those circumstances, and a climate in which most of us living that way don't even feel safe to talk about that reality.

Have a great night, be well and be safe.....

Yeah, and I had to highlight this, because it's the true ESSENCE and PROOF of slavery. Your worth to the country. LOL
In any urban environment in America, we all are well aware of how many veterans are living on the street, after their service to this country. "Your worth to the country?"

This is my inherent point about valuation and the GDP. Many have given their lives, literally and figuratively.......and when are usefulness is up, we are abandoned, because we no longer have "worth." This is my point about GDP, the country run as a business, and capatalism..... There is no valuation attached to that most important sacrifice and offer of worth. We will necessarily fail as a human race if that continuum continues.

By definition the acts are not treason (although Barry got close) ,
The word is sedition
Just as bad as treason , yet does not fit the definition of treason.

Sedition

What makes America great is a very strong and influential foreign policy on trade and GDP and making deals that benefit our nation instead of cow tailing to foreign lobbyists.

I think what makes America great is having the rule-of-law where the presidency is not a dictatorship.

"Sondland testified it was his understanding the president was holding up nearly $400 million in military aid, which Ukraine badly needs with an aggressive Russia on its border, in exchange for the country’s announcement of the investigations."

It sure seems like there's something to all the hullabaloo going on.

If America was a business, Trump would be the best.

What we have here is the difference between a boss and a leader.

America is a business. It’s a corporation of unlimited partners.

My simple take on Trump is that he isn't afraid to say what he thinks, this seems to trigger and offend people but if i lived in America i'd like a strong president who makes tough decisions for the benefit of its citizens. I think he's done that to a certain extent. I'd rather someone with a mind of their own over the hive mentality puppets offered as an alternative.

Anyone in those elite circles is shady as hell, personally i'd just let him get on with it and let the people vote if they want him gone rather than wasting time and money on legal wrangling.

Also, for all the doomsday prophecies on his election, still no nuclear winter..... yet.

My opinion of America from here has certainly changed, seems to have re-discovered it's spirit and backbone. Maybe that's why all the spineless reptiles are so upset as they generally prefer a more clandestine approach to their villainy.

the video tackles the 'phoney Inquiry scam' as a phoney info gathering scam only & has no validity with impeachment

I am stymied as to how anyone could think he is anything other than a criminal.
These hearings are making it all perfectly clear.

The thing is Silly, I don’t doubt that Trump is “a criminal” but this Ukraine thing doesn’t show it.

Now, does it show a willingness to use the machinery of the state to his own advantage? Absolutely, Was he really trying to take out a politcal rival? Maybe, but it’s way too early for such a power play to make much sense.

I think it was literally Trump being Trump. He was easily swayed by Guiliani (who is a criminal) and he abused his powers.

That’s not illegal. It’s impeachable, but did you hear what Pelosi PUBLISHED?

They have to impeach because they CAN’T trust the Electorate!!! It doesn’t matter WHAT Trump has done now, this stupid $#%@ has INVALIDATED the whole f-ing process.

She’s mind-numbingly incompetent and needs to be removed from office.

Democrats: Trump demanded quid-pro-quo!

Every single witness: There was no quid-pro-quo.

Democrats: IMPEACH!

You: Wow Trump is orange and bad! Good thing we have Democrats to save us.

Yeah why won't a guy like Giuliani just take a few minutes of his time to point out these "easy provable lies" and clear everything up...??

Because Adam Schiff is running both the prosection and the defense in this round? Schiff decides what both cases will be allowed to be, so whatever Rudy's case might be, he's simply not allowed to bring it in this current round of hearings. Perhaps the Senate trial will be different.

This is never getting to the senate. Democrats caved in to their radical base and launched this investigation which has only served to bolster Trump and every last witness with first hand knowledge has said there was no quid pro quo.

This is the problem with the Democrat party today. They want complete and total power. They need to do this because they are worried people will vote Trump in again and they can't let the people have a choice. It's horrifying. Republicans are terrible too, but the idea that politicians need to prevent the people from having a voice because they know better should make everyone's face pale. As much as they want to kick and scream how Trump is ruining Democracy that comment by Pelosi is the actual end of Democracy.

...because it's become so obvious that the "swamp" is still the very same "swamp" and no one is really draining it, ...

Really now??

Let's examine this for a moment, shall we?

Had it not been for the now infamous Ukraine phone call, would the world know about the Biden corruption? Had it not been for Trump screaming "FAKE NEWS", would the world know about the extreme left bias in the US MSM? Had it not been for Trump standing up and actively fighting the "Russians did it" mantra chants from the left, would the world know it was really Hillary and the DOJ, not Trump, who was behind it all? (btw...what a cataclysmic fail for the dems that deal was!). And the hits just keep on coming...because of whom? Trump.

You allege Trump failed the Ukraine by not meeting with their president, but you fail to mention he released half a billion dollars in aid to them! Oh, and screw Syria. Period. Just screw 'em. Syria has never been a friend of the US, and fighting a proxy war there with the Kurds against Ass-wad and the Russians is futile. We should have never been there in the first place! Syria has never been a US ally, and they never will be...ever.

You say you expect class, and you're not getting it from Trump. Well, let's look at the alternative; do you think you would have gotten the "class" you call for with Clinton? Like it or not, Clinton WAS the only alternative, hand picked by the Dems. You say you're not getting representation. I would argue you're getting more representation with Trump than you did with Obama '12, Obama 08', Bush '04, Bush '00, Clinton '96, and Clinton '94.

I do agree with one thing you posted though...."GET FRIGGIN' REAL!"
