Guys I don't think this is going well for Trump and co........
Typical leftist response, of course you'll post this, utter nonsense, especially the part where sondland keeps saying no QPQ with regards to Trump, oh that pesky line just keeps undermining y'alls narrative, everything else is hearsay and opinion.

I think you meant to say the part were Sondland says its explicitly 'quid pro quo'

Of course I disagree strongly on your assessment on the plurality of 'people' and their views on the scenario.

The SCIENCE agrees with the other poster.

I mean that's a cool article and all.

I don't think it really has any bearing on how the plurality of citizens in the US are being affected by these hearings.

from the article you linked, "Surveys show that most jurors place heavy weight on eyewitness testimony when deciding whether a suspect is guilty."

He said he made the presumption on his own, that it was a quid pro quo, that he had no direct evidence, but that he just made that presumption based on the "log jam" in the aid.

Sounds more like he only really cared that an announcement about corruption be made.
Not that he cared a fig about corruption itself.
Just something he could wave at a political rally maybe? Hmmmm?
Like Hillary's emails.

Did you miss Nunes when he brought up the Steele Dossier a few minutes ago.

It's corrupt as HELL because both Clinton and the DNC paid a foreign spy for it.

The entire party used it for the Mueller witchunt.

And now pull these hearings out of their CORRUPT rears.

"The president never told you about any preconditions for aid?"

Sondland: "No"

"The president never told you about any preconditions for a White House meeting"

Sondland: "No"

I guess I just don't get it.

It's easy to get.

They hate Trump so much they don't care about FACTS.

Yeah... no
No it doesnt because all the testimony says the pressure was there. It was understood by all that the announcement be made if Zelenskiy hoped for that meeting at the white house which he still has not gotten by the way.
This is a rotten can of worms that just keeps getting worse.
All the GOP has is dead conspiracy theories that the country is laughing at.

Doesnt want anything..... just.... do the right thing.
( guys thats not "doesnt want anything"... thats a big BUT..."wants something done")
I cant believe you want to hang your hats on that phrase with that big naked but hanging off the end.

Well, that makes it real simple don't it, as long as the president doesn't actually say it - its totally not a crime.

My god what fools the Democrats have been!!!!!!one!!!!!eleventiethbirthday!!!!!!!!

I mean, if your prerogative is to rationalize ANY way to make Trump look innocent, then you are 100% correct, pure slam dunk and there's no way any court in the milky way can make anything stick to Trump.

Fortunately here a preponderance of evidence and testimony has weight above and beyond the little the Republicans can sweep under the rug and ignore.

It's just 100% pure coincidence that the Ukraine money was held up and of course had NOTHING to do with Burisma/Biden......

I mean, I think I'd have more respect if Trump supporters would just man up about the whole scenario, admit that no amount of evidence whatsoever will every get them to change their opinions/minds, and stop pussyfooting around the attempts to rationalize it.
