I don't want them as leaders of the free world. I'm fine with Melania or Ivanka taking over.

Not only did I read it I read it several times because it was supposedly a thirty minute call. It took ten minutes to read and I was interrupted during the reading time so even less. That means that twenty minutes are missing.
Of course I read it. I read all of it.

Those dot dot dots means words are left out.
The witnesses testified that words are left out.
Your tunnel vision will leave the flank open.
Its not just this phone call. Its all the lead up and the after.
And those words are just turmp confirming the extortion. Subtly. Because he knows people are listening of course.

That's RICH considering Never Trump paid a GD british spy for the STeele dossier.

Then used it to illegally spy on Trump and THEN weaponize the FBI and DOJ against him.

Seriously rich.

A FEC violation.

www.washingtontimes.com...

Which is now what Never Trump is trying to 'impeach' Trump on.

Americans have only two options because this snip isn't going to stop.

Succession or civil war.

Anyone has to be a complete and utter moron to stay in this union.

When the losers can fabricate whatever the hell they want, and then get rid of a democratically elected leader.

So, those who have testified under oath have lied and those that refuse or aren't allowed to testify are telling the truth?

Ford testfied under OATH and LIED her ass off.

Schiff took an oath to protect and defend the constitition.

Pelosi did too.

Oaths don't mean very much in the 21st century.

Omission of ALL the facts is a LIE.

Which the witness have omitted a lot.

Apparently there was a lot of coaching during their secret bunker meetings( which doesn't fly)

Schiff and company also LEADING the witness's also doesn't fly.

But I disgress it's not a real court of LAW.

It's the Salem Witch Trials.

That pretty much sums up the mindset of Trump's faithful.

I am not sure when this divide was planted, but it seems to be almost full grown. The far right tried to reject everything Obama did, regardless of what it was for in a blatant power struggle. Now with Trump and a Republican Senate, they have sold their faithful on the belief that anyone not with team Trump is a stupid liberal(not sure when that became a derogatory term) that wants to ring in socialism and give people who do not work free stuff while raising taxing those who work to 100%+(even though the working class pays more under Trump's tax break).

Welcome to the Idiocracy. Hopefully it's not here to stay.

Looks like Sondland has just blown things open.

Opening statement

Trump wanted the Ukraine to investigate corruption. That has been amply established.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, unless you're one of the corrupt people who fears being exposed.

Why did he target one company, Burisma?

Why did he target one company, Burisma?

Probably because they embezzled over a billion dollars of IMF funds.

And by the way, Burisma just got indicted in Ukraine.

The indictment specifically claims that Hunter Biden was being paid with proceeds from criminal activities and money laundering.

EDIT: So you're now saying there was a quid pro quo? Trump got his investigation and Ukraine got their aid.

Last week we heard from anti-Trump members on ATS "Wait until next week until first hand witnesses takes the stand", they specifically said that Sondlands testimony would be devastating to the Repubs buuuuuuuut, i've heard several times now that Sondland had no direct evidence for a QPQ but merely his "understanding/implication/2+2=4" etc etc and he said several times that he never heard Trump said "this for that" to him (Sondland)

What are we, on day 4-5 of the impeachment hearing? "I did not hear directly from pres Trump that the aid would be held up until the statement was made" -Sondland, just as everyone else had said.

The dems cant produce a single witness that can support the dems impeachment justification, not even those that are very anti-trump. A shame that this isn't a court of law because then this would be already thrown out by the judge so they could go back and focus on important stuff like poverty, clean water bills etc etc

From the testimonies of literally every witness, it was Ukraine in general.

As for QPQ, please explain to me, in small words, why attempting to expose corruption should be considered a crime? It seems to me that this is a situation where only the criminals would feel threatened by Trump's actions.

BTW, I need to correct myself: it wasn't a billion dollars. It was seven billion dollars. And according to several members of the Ukrainian parliament, the DNC was involved in helping to launder that money.

It's becoming clear why the Dems are so desperate to find an excuse to get rid of Trump. That is some major-league embezzlement, and now that it's being brought to light even the likes of the Clintons aren't going to be able to save them from prison.

From my link:

KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian members of parliament have demanded the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, investigate suspicions of the legalization of $7.4 billion by the "family" of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych through the American investment fund Franklin Templeton Investments, which they said has ties to the U.S. Democratic Party.

Meanwhile, Derkach said that several facts indicate Franklin Templeton Investments' relationship with the U.S. Democratic Party.

"The son of Templeton's founder, John Templeton Jr., was one of President Obama's major campaign donors. Another fund-related character is Thomas Donilon. Managing Director of BlackRock Investment Institute, shareholder Franklin Templeton Investments, which has the largest share in the fund. It is noteworthy that he previously was Obama's national security advisor," Derkach said.
