Well we can still have guns for hunting and i can tell you in my home town almost every home has one, we listen to hard core music, there is poverty, there are video games, and we dont go out there shooting people...
Yes, someone stopped the crazyness, but it could have been prevented, before it came to that.
That type of excuse is getting verrrryyyyyyyyy old, cause by one way or another we all have access to guns, but the US is the only place in the world where these mass shootings happen so often, its crazy.
I'm not against people owning guns, and since all that is governmental is the US is bought, you should have guns, at least to deffend yourselves from your own goverment, not your neighbour.
Crazy people are everywhere, but in most places we get to them before they go out shooting people...

Many things... People aren't prepared anymore on how to deal with rejections, getting fired, bullying, etc. We had this problem before, but never at the current rate. Most likely due to the nanny state that's been created all around us.

Every other country has all of those things. This problem is specific to America. What do we have that they don't?

I listen to, and play, death and black metal, and play video games. Really violent video games, and I am constantly searching for the most vile and disturbing horror movies I can find. I'm about to turn 40 and I've never thought about shooting up a Walmart.

for many americans, weapons are a fetish. weapons are like burgers. the health system is backward. society is divided. the internet intensifies the hatred and frustration of potential amok runners. pages like ats help to stir up anger. this has nothing to do with video games or hip hop of course. people gamble and listen to hip hop in all countries of the world.

WTF is wrong with all these people?

The only thing wrong with a majority of them is that they're in a fragile state of mind to begin with and prone to manipulation, then your nefarious alphabet agencies meander in and brainwash them to perform shootings like these to further a political agenda and keep the populace controlled by fear. The aforementioned alphabet agencies then neutralise the threat they created and say look how we saved you, then the sheep say 'yay they saved us, lets sign away some more freedoms' as the Cabal, TPTB, The Elite fester in the shadows rubbing their oily disgusting hands together and laugh amongst themselves as we fight among each other. Divided and Conquered.

Great post, but we're not conquered yet.

Rather ironic how these shootings are now occurring at the same time that the impeachment inquiry is happening?
Its almost like someone is trying to push for a Socialist and Progressive agenda on gun control which later on never do work.

Again i am not saying its false flag i am just saying that its very odd how its happening during the impeachment inquiry.

Could be a revenge shooting, a disgruntled lover or employee, it could be gang-related, it could be anything.

Tragic, I'm sorry there was a loss of life, but I can't really comment any more than that until I know more.

A man and woman shot dead in a car, a third man dead (suicide?) beside the car.

First my thought are with all the victims

What I always wonder when these issues are being discussed

Is violence increasing through time or decreasing?

It seems from a first glance things are getting much worse with shootings.

But a slightly deeper look seems to suggest violence on the whole in the US, even gun violence, is decreasing

Then there is the more nuanced discussion of types or specifics of gun violence

Don’t get me wrong, every situation like this is a tragedy we should try to prevent (although it is impossible to eliminate murder and hate completely)

But a beginning to mowing what may he solutions would seem getting all facts as to the extent of the problem and whether or not it is getting worse

Crazy people are everywhere,

Very true in the US because Leftists forced the closing of the Mental Hospitals. As a result, the crazies roam free perpetrating mass killings. Before long, the US Cities will be free-fire kill zones. Some, like Chicago and Baltimore already are.

You're also not a mental case and was probably taught to deal with life problems. I'm 40 also, which means we grew up in the same era and a time when the nuclear family was promoted, not frowned upon.

Yea, like you said it's really tricky, and really depends on if someone is looking at it to see the problem, or looking at it to make sure it fits their world view.

I'd agree, we are seeing a rise in horrific events, personally the only one constant that seems to be involved with most of these is certain prescriptions.

Now, who knows if that's the root cause or a clue to what is... But I think constants are a good place to start.

I've caught two exes with former friends and never once thought about killing either one of them. Back then it was hard enough to be faithful, though I was, so when I caught them, I was a little hurt due to the sacrifices I'd made to stay faithful, but in the grand scheme of things I was free again and able to go have fun again. But maybe I just handled things differently.

Yup.

Husband 'shoots dead estranged wife and her new boyfriend in parking lot of an Oklahoma Walmart before turning gun on himself when confronted by armed bystander'

Given that -- statistically -- more than half of women killed are killed by their husband/boyfriends/exes, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

It's a societal problem. Society is infatuated with violence.

Unfortunately I agree with everything you wrote.
