At the end of the interview, the interviewer specifically asks the prince if ‘there is anything he’d like to add?’. This was a script, he was supposed to offer his condolences to the victims at this moment. He forgot the script — and subsequently made himself look far worse, than he did before the interview.

And we don’t need an expert behavioral analysis to see that this dude was lying for 50 minutes straight. What a POS.

One of his advisers quit because he decided to do the interview ... he knew it would be car crash TV and it was.
Andrew was never the sharpest knife in the draw , more like a spoon in reality but he shot himself in both feet doing the interview , the lies were obvious and the hole he is in just dug deeper.

He deserves all of the embarrassment that is coming , sadly that's as far as it will go.

To the Tower with him !

He ignored all advice so the only script was his own. He is that stupid and that arrogant.

It is alleged that he had with an underage girl, who claims she was forced to as a sex slave at the time, on 3 occasions, and there is a photo of him with her... that?

This was in the uk and she was 17 so not underage.

Anyone who thinks this interview was a spontaneous event I'll count your brain cells in single figures.
Believe me that everything was done with the "firms" backing and approval. The questions would have been in their hands a few weeks ago. He would have been aware of the questions in advance and even probably coached numerous times of the answers. That's why he was so calm because he knew what was coming and he had his go to answers already coached in him.
This was done to clear the waters because the US attorneys were threatening to subpoena him if he entered the States again.
Just for clarification, he could not be prosecuted for sex with a minor in England as she was 17 at the time and the legal age of consent is 16. So it's his dealing in the US that will bite hin.

Well thats me brain dead then.
Anyone that thinks a half decent PR expert or legal advisor touched this car crash of an interview with a bargepole has not been keeping up and underestimates the mans arrogance.
The Queen is furious with him.

Agreed , for Randy Andy to bring negative publicity like this to the Royal household would indeed invoke the fury of Her Majesty and rightly so.
Some things don't need to be shown to be known.

Well, he said in the interview he doesn’t drink alcohol. However, he obviously uses drugs. Look at the pic on your video with the girl licking him. His eyes are clearly dilated. I’d be willing to bet E. on that evening.

Well use your intelligence then. The "firm" does nothing without a reason and that includes with the Queens approval. This is just outing the skeletons out of the closet.
Do you remember a couple of years ago a picture of the young Queen giving a Nazi salute. Do you think that was an expose picture? Why do you think that they are giving access to Charles and Camilla? Doing "look at me being good and ordinary" programs.
They are clearing the decks for Charles to be king, to give him a clear future with no skeletons to come out.

I've seen a few people asking for an extradition warrant to be served, if he's guilty of any wrong-doing then he should be made to face justice, but don't you guys think there's a double standard here, how many of you were calling for Mrs Sacoola to be sent back across the pond after she ran over and killed Harry Dunn?
If the US goverment will not send Americans to Great Britain to face Justice, why should Great Britain send anyone to face the more corrupt US justice system? The same happened during the Gulf war when there was a blue on blue incident and the US refused to send American soldiers to face questioning.

This is not a big disaster for Andrew.

It is a carefully orchestrated "Get Out Of Jail" card.

By holding this interview, and receiving all the negative feedback, he (his legal team) can now declare that he will not get a fair trial due to the negativity received as the result of the interview. A juror will never be found who has not been influenced by this interview.

The main stream are flooding all the outlets with negative responses. I think this is a deliberate ploy being used by higher forces.

You also have to put some more context around this.

The Royals are all trained and coached to disguise and hide their body language (anti-interview techniques, NLP etc). As a military officer, Andrew has also been through the Special Forces interrogation evasion techniques .

So I think the BBC interview was carefully constructed to give a deliberate 'disaster-interview', and this will keep him out of any trial-by-jury should a case against him ever be bought forward.

He needs extraditing to the USA to stand justice ASAP.

Another point to note, is that Ghislaine Maxwell has done a disappearing act. Andrew being a Royal figure cannot do the same. They are both desperately playing stay-out-of-jail techniques, albeit with different tactics.

I've just added this too.

The BBC interview was also complicit in distorting other facts.

The question was never asked as to how many times Jeffery Epstein had stayed in the UK at the invite of Prince Andrew, and how often they were together. The questions only questioned how many times Andrew stayed at Epstein's (and Maxwell's) properties. Neither did the interview ask how many times Epstein and Andrew went to Thailand et al on vacation together.

Epstein stayed multiple times in the UK at Andrews invitation. He is alleged to have stayed at Balmoral, Sandringham, Windsor Castle Estate, Kensington Palace and even Buckingham Palace. He had VIP treatment courtesy of Andrew, and dined multiple times with the main Royal Family. Epstein is alleged to have full unescorted access to all the Royal residences whilst he was staying there. There are multiple photos providing evidence of him being there. Epstein was a frequent and regular guest of Andrews. Epstein also built up a close friendship with Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, lending (aka giving) her a substantial amount of money to get out of a financial difficulty.

And remember, Ghislaine Maxwell was Andrew's girlfriend for over three years, with Andrew, Maxwell and Epstein being regularly seen and photographed together at public and private events. It is said that Andrew met Epstein via Maxwell during the time she was Andrews girlfriend.

My "intelligence" tells me that this was an extremely arrogant tosser with an enormous sense of entitlement and self importance who has ignored everyone (his press officer resigned before he did this interview) and put his foot right in it.

You underestimate this tossers ability to make a complete arse of himself.

Correctamundo. His PR agent 'agreed to leave' after spending a month trying to batter in Andrew's thick skull to keep profile low, his mouth shut and not to do any interviews with the press (especially on camera or radio), do not have any contact with them, shut up and hide from public view - instead wait until your birthday and we will write a few columns/memoirs for various newspaper focusing on your experiences in the Falkland's War to win some public favour.

This the only interview in history with a member of the Royal Family I'm aware of where questions weren't pre-screened, the Queen was only made aware after the interview was arranged (betrayal of the firm - the Palace say Andrew and his secretary were working in rogue in a silo). Prince Charles was only informed hours before and wants him exiled and stripped of his role in Royal Family because of his stupidity in appearing infront of the press without prescribing and his shocking lack of awareness how media and PR work - he even phoned him as soon as he found out urging him to pull the plug on the interview

When I was working as Press Officer for a Uni there was no chance in hell we'd ever take the risk of allowing journalists to have any direct communication with Academic Staff, Vice Chancellors, Management even for basic/mundane things like a journalist wanting a quote from a scientist or professor about a topic/discovery.

We'd make every excuse in the book and run down print deadlines in order to get them to email questions over - we would pre-choose the best staff member to ask, perform the interview/film/photograph ourselves (allowing them time to think, not putting them on the spot, no risk of slip of the tongue or camera capturing an embarrassing gaffe) I'd then take the interview back to the press room - screen/edit it to remove anything that the press could twist or report in a negative fashion - send the edited copy back to the proffesor/VC etc...so they could see it, correct any misinterpretations then send the final version to the newspaper for print.

Press enquiries into highly questionable (illegal) actions the University was involved with were completely stonewalled and PR/Law firm Webber Chandwick were paid £10m a year - around £2m for every major story) by successfully arguing in Court that such information was 'Commercially Sensitive' so they didn't have to release it.

Prince Andrew doesn't have any legal immunity just because he's a member of the Royal Family - there's US and UK investigations going on, the US allows trial by media and he actively instigated the interview so it'd be thrown out of court as a defence in my limited understanding and no lawyer would advise making any public comment as it can and most likely will be used against you in court/is a treasure trove of info for the police investigations and alleged victim's lawyers (Oldcarpy and Paraphi will probably know the ins and outs of this).

He was so arrogant he spent more time speaking about how honorable he was and how he once went to a Pizza Express in Woking than mentioning any sympathy for the victims, apologising for failing to notice any wrongdoing or being wracked with guilt/anger/grief/remorse and beating himself up thinking 'was there something I could have done to prevent this'...like any normal person would.

Prior to the interview the thought of him ending up in jail or court seemed laughable, now it seems almost a certainty.

Good post.
PR for uni vice chancellors must be a nightmare. I remember the flak the vc of Bath Uni rightly got over her ridiculous pay and perks.

Ah - you overestimate my knowledge of US law though. Have had some experience and could tell some stuff about some - interesting - cases but obviously can't.

I know this is a conspiracy site but its usually a case of "conspiracy" or "cock up".

This one has "cock up" writ large all over it!

I expect Andrew may well be sidelined.
I am all in favour of a titular Monarch without all the family hanger oners.

Queenie made a mistake a while ago by extending it to all and sundry.

This may well be a sea change moment.
Hope so!

Love watching the Windsors on netflix.
Its spot on!
