war is peace
The maintenance of arms and the armies who will carry them into battle are, in fact, a sound strategy for averting war through readiness. However, if
you are at war like we have been for 20 years and then call that peace, then we're going to have a problem.
freedom is slavery
In today's society, the individual is free to destroy him/herself with dependence on pornography, addiction to drugs, obesity, and the myriad
diseases that accompany. He/She is free to be validated in the self-destruction via various "movements" that remove all personal responsibility from
the individual for whatever justification is sought.
The "body positivity movement" excusing and encouraging obesity, people engaging in dangerous and unproven pseudo-medical interventions because they
think biological facts are mere opinions held by snooty learned people who are all somehow in the employ of an evil mastermind who is doing a #ty job
of killing us all with his vaccines.
# the Man for his incompetence.
We do, also, have the freedom to think and express that thought PEACEABLY(we don't).
We have reserved the right to seek education and information so that we might innovate, create, and prosper.
We, as free individuals, have to maintain those rights by tempering them with responsibility. We haven't bothered with this aspect of liberty much in
the last few decades, so today we are faced with the very real prospect of losing our liberties in silence or in a loud civil war. Loud enough to be
one of the 7 Trumpets that herald our judgment, if you believe that sort of thing.
What then is freedom to We the People of America? We seem to be totally enslaved to our freedom. So much so that we have trapped ourselves in a cage
of hedonism and degeneracy that is beginning to cause real damage to the United States and her people. We are literally killing ourselves with our
freedom.
Why?
Because we refuse Responsibility. God forbid I should correct the words of George Orwell, however, "Freedom is Slavery" is meant as a treatise against
government censorship and reality-twisting. The term on its own is incomplete in any other context. Freedom becomes Slavery when we abdicate
Responsibility for the wanton permissiveness our hedonism demands.
ignorance is strength
This one I do see a lot of in a straightforward fashion. So many believe their opinions to be above reproach and that being entitled to HAVE an
opinion is equivalent to stating a fact.
The vast majority of Americans cannot tell the difference between a statement of fact (whether true or not is immaterial because you should be
fact-checking) and a statement of opinion that leads to conclusions that do not hold up even on the most cursory levels of analysis. When confronted
with this reality people just don't give a #. This is the most discouraging thing about our society today.
All of the above has culminated in a Global Superpower populated with nihilistic masturbators who are slaves to their basic drives while the rest of
the world plans on a future that doesn't include us.
What kind of hell storm do you think that will create?
I do what I can to make things better and discourage the nihilism in our society. But this dark cloud is so pervasive and it is starting to rain.
