Communism leads to destruction of will and harms all touched by it. I have been to China three times and met many people there who all HATE communism and communist government. The majority population in China absolutely hate the leftists in America as well, because they remind them of their own communist government, and they see them doing the same things their own government does.

What does that tell you? Did you know that the majority of Chinese people in China support Trump because he also despises communism and socialism? When Trump does things that leftists here claim harmed China, or the Chinese government's goals, they cheered Trump's actions with great joy? They did, and they do.

What does that tell you about communism?

So you implement communism, and it works great under one guy. What about the next guy, or the guy after him?

And then, how would you stop it when the system eventually turned against the people?

Anyone that believes government is a solution is part of the problem.

Pretty much this... anything beyond this might be construed as an attack on the OP.

While I think his view is warped, he is free to have his own opinion.

Um. In Marxist-Leninist-Maoist socialism, where the the grim and depressing is perpetual, sex is the only thing where there is fun and intimacy.

That's not so much fun under communist regimes.

Look no further than RAPE camps in North Korea.

If you want a taste of Socialism, just imagine a country where Adam Schiff was the leader and his party was the only ones in charge running false flags and witch hunts all day against anyone who questions them. Shoot if you switch Adam Schiff with the Squad it might be even worst. I don't want to live in a country like that.

I said I was a socialist not a communist. To repeat what I said I believe government has a role in addressing the excesses of laissez faire capitalism. The problems with our country are NOT rocket science. The billionaires pay the lobbyists to force the politicians to pass legislation creating cartels and monopolies in exchange for campaign financing.

We have communism in this country and a single party rule by the lobbyists. The problem is the communism we have is NOT in the worker's favor. What we have is corporation communism which only serves the billionaires and fat-cats.

Obviously you think our current system of laissez faire capitalism is an end-all be-all perfect system. Obviously you okay with the corporations gouging the consumer while using data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics to price fix wages. I am not.

Contrary to your right wing ideology, the facts simply do not match your right wing delusions:

Purchasing Power of the Consumer Dollar

You can use derogatory labels all you want. But in the end money talks and everything you post is pure BS.

I like Adam Schiff. I think he's doing a great job with the Trump impeachment investigation. It is important to get rid of the mud-slinging innuendos on both sides and get the facts directly from the people making testimonies under oath. Maybe Trump innocent. Or, maybe he broke the law buy using money allocated by congress for his own personal gain. We shall see what the Senate decides if the evidence is worthy enough for a vote to pass in the House.

SAME difference.

The state still owns everything people are deluded in to thinking they get a say.

I wouldn't call violating every known ethics rule doing a great job.

I don't like him, and HE represents everything inherently wrong with his party.

So you like Adam Schiff a dyed in the wool scum bag. Who would have thunk it?

All he does is sling mud which contradicts your support and like of him. JALH (just another leftist hypocrite).

Although communism is a form of socialism, not all socialism is communism.

YES the same thing.

Socialism is a range of economic and social systems characterised by social ownership of the means of production and workers' self-management,[10] as well as the political theories and movements associated with them.[11] Social ownership can be public, collective or cooperative ownership, or citizen ownership of equity.[12] There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them,[13] with social ownership being the common element shared by its various forms.

THAT is a lie.

There's no social ownership. Because if there WAS. the people would get a say, but they don't.

Both socialism, AND communism is authorian rule.

In political and social sciences, communism (from Latin communis, "common, universal")[1][2] is a philosophical, social, political, and economic ideology and movement whose ultimate goal is the establishment of a communist society, which is a socioeconomic order structured upon the ideas ofcommon ownership of the means of production and the absence of social classes, money,[3][4] and the state.[5][6]

MEANS the SAME GD thing using a different word.

A Spade is a SPADE.

Here's a question for the self professed socialist's.

If I own a business WHY do you think you get to own it?

MY means of production started it.

MY means of production financed it.

MY means of production bust my arse off for it.

Just so you can vote yourself majority owner of it ?

Hell no.

History has shown the people in power are not very good at sharing. So government is the only solution if we want to have a robust economy that serves the people and not the other way around.

Only 4000 if you are a Communist? Then that there tells us that Communism sucks.

I find this an interesting statement of yours above. You are very true in your point here, but you are missing one key part to this and that is in all cases a smaller group of people become the haves while a larger group become the have nots. You are trying to say Communism or very far left Socialism removes the people in power that do not share, and that is far from the truth.

In America we have the ability for anyone to move from the have not to the have by only using one's own abilities. We also have a middle class that far exceeds world standards for what middle class is and this is proof as to what our system offers over other systems. World standard middle class is 32 to 65 dollars per day and it is not hard to actually be in that range as an hourly rate in America while not considering oneself rich. 100,000 per year equals 48 dollars per hour as example.

In a communist country there are extreme level differences between the haves and the have nots and personal money has nothing to do with it as both groups can have very little personal worth while one group still lives a lifestyle of a billionaire and the other group lives a sad life with no way out of it from birth to death.

sorry but no it won't change my mind because regardless of it's intention communism and socialism are too idealistic and counter to human nature, in the end such a society would stagnate humanity and lead to our demise. maybe once society becomes a post scarcity civilization it might work but we still have a long way to go for that, right now it's too early to even try those ideas, this hiccup with china and socialist programs in western nations is temporary and it will fail miserably at some point, it's already dragging the US economy down more and more every year..
