oldies stations leave out a lot of good stuff

+1 on 'Toast and Marmalade' and the Leo Sayers material

'Arizona'' by Mark Lindsey. kind of a one-hit wonder guy.

You've made an interesting post - insight and all - so you'd be the one to ask.

Do you think kids these days will ever experience what we did? Growing up in a time when all those Top 40's - we listened to day in and day out (no cell phones, computers). All those tunes we still have in our head! When I think of the amount of memory I have in all the Old Tunes. And then the EMOTIONS that get triggered with them? I wonder if young people now are missing out on some of the best things in life.

Freakin' Arizona LMAO. I'd never heard that song until I moved to Phoenix and worked in a grocery store. That song played at least once every shift.

Man, I'd forgotten that one. Brings back good memories even if the song is kinda lousy.
