Please help find the title of an old science fiction movie

I saw this movie 30 years ago maybe 40 years. It's about a bunch of people trying to escape Earth before it gets blown up or something. They finally get aboard the space ship and take off right before the Earth is destroyed. The ship goes down a long track and then shoots up into the sky. And the last scene of the movie is they are looking at a planet that is the real earth right before they land. The final twist of the movie being humans came from another planet. Does anyone know this movie?

There was a Twilight Zone that sounds just like that. I remember at the the end they were looking out the window and said the name of their new planet was called earth.

Sounds like ”When Worlds Collide”.

Although I’m not certain about that last scene.

The spaceship in that episode was a flying saucer.

The protagonists left their planet on the eve of a world war.

Yeah, it's a color film from the 50's with a bunch of square jaw lead men and of course the required hot chick next door.

Beat me to it. That was a good movie. Have to pop it in sometime. "A Crack in the World" is another good one.
