I can't even begin to count how many times I've seen something like this. And, I know some people who sell on this place who say some sellers do this intentionally, and people fall for it. I just love this!!

What's wrong with this picture????....

I guess PT Barnum was right afterall!

ETA - Incidentally, there are (12) items per "pack"

I'm not sure what they are selling but if I can get $60.00 dollars off instantly and only pay $30.59 for a 5 pack of something. It sounds like a good idea unless it something undesirable.

It's silly wood pencils, on this particular item, but you can find thousands of other examples of exactly the same thing.

Oh, and it has nothing to do with the $60 dollar off part.

Look again.

I get it bro. The 2 pack is 3 times the price of a 1 pack.

The crazy part is, there are many people out there, that think this methodology makes sense. Purchasing the product, without doing any math. Why do you think amazon does it?

One 2-pack is more than two 1-packs, and so on...

You do see the unit cost, right?

1 = 100%
2 = 300%
3 = 387%
4 = 525%
5 = 760%

So...I can order (1) 5-pack for $30.59...OR...I can order (5) 1-packs for $19.95. Same quantity, same shipping...just 30% less. DOH!!

Upon approval of the credit card, you get a sixty dollar gift card number that you can use to spend on anything. It does not get all used up on one transaction if it is lower. Although, they do not tell people that directly in their information, I learned that from the granddaughter who did it before.

Look at the unit prices.

I do; I was playing along with you.. I also see through the "great deals" as nothing more than a scam.

Much love and wellbeing to you, was not trying to confront you at all. 😍

I swear something is happening to the human mind. Here in this country on TV on the talk shows which are many throughout the day, you can't help but see a few men acting and dressing like women. Is the world really becoming a state of queer dumbness? I'm serious, this is getting ridiculous .

If you put it on a credit card, you can get more miles for bulk purchases.

Just sayin'...

I can't see the seller, but having had an Amazon Store I can tell you that what may seem crazy on the buyer end could make perfect sense on the outside seller end due to shipping reimbursement. Sometimes it's better to ship one item than to ship more because of the way they calculate the shipping cost. I frequently lost money on shipping, but sometimes the reimbursement on a single item actually made me money. In that scenario I'd rather ship 10 singles than a pack of ten.

Of course there's more to it, margins per unit vs. shipping. Yada Yada.

Haven't been selling for a while, but that's my guess.
