You're missing some greats like Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, MC5, along with bunches of others that weren't as famous like The Velvet Haze, Stone Garden, Crank, lots of early metal.

Those are all pretty common. I was looking for some deeper cuts. I tried MC5 several times I could only find live cuts. I like studio cuts for these lists. I don't know why.

Post of couple of your favorites. I would love to expand the play list. Nothing too common. I know all the Deep Purple and Steppenwolf stuff.

Hendrix wrote all the riffs first...

Here's a couple. Spooky Tooth has some hard blues in this one but it's a unique metal-ish tune and an interesting version of the song.

In the sixties, Blue Cheer was the loudest recorded band...So loud, they had to record on a shipping peer outside.

The DRUMMER miked his drums thru 3 Marshal Stacks.

YEEEESH... I hate how those old people used to do things... that voice.

I mean I thought it was terrible hearing judas priest "Get down on your knees and repent if you please!" in a high pitched girly voice.



Thank god I caught the tail end of it where bands took the styles but made them... better.

Shame metallica are now a parody of themselves.. and megadeth are a slightly boring christian style rock band.. at least we still have slayer.
