Why does that matter ?

They’ve had Trump investigated for collusion and corruption .

All foreign aid comes with strings attached. Fighting corruption was one of the strings in the 2014 Ukraine freedom support act where all of this funding has come from .

Directs the Secretary and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to: (1) strengthen democratic civil society in Ukraine, (2) support independent media outlets, and (3) counter government corruption and improve accountability. Authorizes FY2016 appropriations for such activities.

Freedom support act

Is Biden special ?

Come on, don’t confuse these delusional people with real facts,
Let them live their fairy tale, it’s all they have left.

its gotten so bad they are accusing trump of "bribery" lol by sharing funds with the rnc even though tis nothing of the sort and the dems are just scared with how much money the RNC and trump are rasing for the party

www.politico.com...

Next week, Trump will lend a hand to Georgia Sen. David Perdue, a staunch ally who has also spoken out against impeachment. On Nov. 8, the president will host an Atlanta fundraising lunch that will jointly benefit his campaign, the Republican National Committee, and Perdue’s reelection effort. Attendees are being asked to give up to $100,000, according to an invitation obtained by POLITICO.
pretty steep but that is politics for ya now a days

www.forbes.com... /#35a826593eb5

Topline: President Donald Trump—who is facing a formal impeachment inquiry in the House—has leveraged his fundraising network to boost the campaigns of struggling Republican senators who have signed a resolution condemning impeachment proceedings, in a move that one former White House lawyer has suggested is “felony bribery.”
so now its full on "bribery" to help raise funds for your political party the TDS is getting pretty bad this close to the election (bit over a year away)

www.newsweek.com...

Attorney Richard Painter, who served as the chief White House ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush administration, warned on Thursday that President Donald Trump appeared to be committing "felony bribery" by giving Republican senators fundraising cash ahead of an increasingly likely impeachment trial in the Senate. The lawyer shared an article published by Politico on Thursday morning. Titled "Trump lures GOP senators on impeachment with cold cash," the article outlined how the president is turning to his large network of donors to raise funds for a few senators facing difficult re-election campaigns in 2020. All of those senators have also signed a resolution condemning the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry. "This is a bribe. Any other American who offered cash to the jury before a trial would go to prison for felony bribery. But he can get away with it?" Painter, a law professor at the University of Minnesota, wrote on Twitter. "Criminal."
it is fun watching the dems flail about this close to an election and im sure by now trump smells blood in the water
and why perchance are the dems suddenly scared of trump raising money?
www.realclearpolitics.com...

Sure, they’re trying to reelect the most unpopular president in modern times and they have their work cut out for them, but it’s no wonder the Republican National Committee’s formidable operation has Democrats freaking out. For months Democrats have worried about a potentially lethal combination of Trump’s incumbency advantage coupled with the unparalleled strength of the GOP organization -- and that was before their newfound fear that they may not end up with a suitable nominee to take on even a deeply embattled Trump. While he rants on Twitter and holds campaign rallies, Democrats in a primary race get little notice or coverage. Meanwhile the Trump campaign is carpet-bombing Facebook with ads and the RNC is spreading a volunteer army across key swing states, all while breaking fundraising records allowing them to deploy critical resources nearly a year before a Democrat is nominated. Whoever thought this fight would start in the general election campaign had it all wrong. This terrifying realization is now causing allies of former Vice President Joe Biden to mull the creation of a super PAC since he is not only struggling to raise adequate sums but has been forced to fend off attacks by Trump months before the first votes in the primary contest will even be cast. In August, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez acknowledged the threat after the RNC tripled the amount the DNC raised in July. In an email he sent supporters sounding the alarm, he wrote that “our eventual nominee won't stand a chance against Trump and the GOP’s fundraising machine unless we start making strategic, early investments right now.” It was clear in September, when the RNC quadrupled the DNC total, that those investments have yet to materialize. September was the best non-election-year month for the RNC in history for either party, raising $27.3 million to the DNC’s $6.9 million. The RNC is carrying no debt; the DNC is carrying $7.2 million. The RNC has $59.2 million cash on hand while the DNC has $8.6 million. The RNC’s 2019 total is $168.7 million while the DNC has raised only $66.5 million this year. The combined total raised online from small donors in the third quarter between the RNC, the Trump campaign and the Trump Make America Great Again Committee was $45 million, with a surge of 313,000 first-time small-dollar donors just in that quarter.

so his base is donating were energized and not really caring about all the democrats humbug allegations and falsehood because we can see through the partisan nonsense that they are SCARED of trump absolutely crushing them in 2020 ,house may impeach him but the senate will not give up their golden goose and considering this Ukraine nonsense is the 5th or 8th time "we got drumph" we have heard from the dems since before he even took office dems are starting to really look like "the boy who kept crying wolf" for so long even the wolves are like hey man tone it down a little

I'm fine if you wanna impeach Trump, or try to, for those reason. Should we be expecting Bidens withdraw from the campaign as well? Or should we expect the dems to punish him in any way whatsoever? I mean, he's literally on video bragging about withholding funds to get the prosecutor fired. Or is that a nothing burger?

You mean according to Text Transcripts and Testimony under Oath of Trump's appointed staff?

How the hell would you know this?

Schiff is only releasing bits and pieces that support his version of the story. If the evidence speaks for itself he would release all the transcripts.

But he won't do it - and the Republicans that have watched the testimony know why - the actual testimony destroys any case for impeachment.

Not sure how you leftists get extortion out of Trump asking Ukraine to look into where this Russian collusion nonsense came from. It's almost like you all don't want to see justice served... Or at least justice that fits your narrative.

We do NOT have the call transcript. We have about 10 minutes of a 30-minute transcript that has been redacted.

Personal gain is when you use congressionally approved funds to pressure a foreign government to investigate a political rival.

Yeah, ummm, no.

the call went through translators, so that would explain the "time" difference.

Despite what Trump has repeatedly claimed, the released memo was NOT a transcript of the call.

Claiming otherwise simply eradicates whatever credibility you wish to preserve.

The Memo itself says the same. Testimony of those on the call has affirmed it.

Of all Trump's lies you seek to wed yourself to, that one might be a lie you should choose to abandon for the sake of your own credibility surviving the collapse.

He very much is, along with a dozen other contenders.

You seem to have a reality disconnect issue.

Sorry the democrats have cried wolf so many time and achieved nothing.

Stormy Daniels, peeing on women, hush money, Russia, Ukraine, tax evasion blah blah blah.

Apart from women peeing, which is not illegal nor a danger to the country, which one of those things do you believe false?

Are you one of those cultists that believed Trump when he said he did not sleep with the porn star nor pay her for her silence during the campaign?

The investigation was re opened in February. Everything else is garbage.

There is no evidence of that what-so-ever.

There is a discredited Journalist that was working with Giuliani claiming it without evidence on Fox News, but nothing a child would find remotely credible to back that claim.

It was as close to a transcript as you're gonna get with Presidential phone calls - this is how they are memorialized. They are not recorded, don't think they ever have been.

And the whistleblower, and even the recent Lt. Colonel everyone is claiming provided 'damning' evidence, says the transcript is pretty much exactly what was said, word for word.

PERIOD. TDS or not, this is the reality.

He is and was a political rival. Keep up.

So...What was your point...again...?

I am embarrassed I have to explain this to certain folks that apparently have sufficient intellect to operate a keyboard, but...

When someone declares they are running for President in 2020, that means they are a political rival to the person that is also running for President in 2020.

Being nominated by a political party is actually just a side-note to that very real fact.

Lest it is the right wings contention that Ross Perot, Ralph Nader and other candidates never existed or that people that run for president are not actually running for President?

How does that logic work? Presidential candidates are not presidential candidates?

Trump's talking points require so much self-abuse, it's like he demands his talking heads declare themselves idiots.

pay her for what silence? 8 years later? really? you think he would go back 8 years later and pay her to be quiet while shes been quiet the entire time? she was running from her ex. there was no stalker hitman. all lies.

your posts are so ridiculous its hard to start...

there is no peeing hookers tape. it was a lie. like the rest.

listen I'm going to break this down for you real slowly.

HRC paid a foreign agent for dirt on a political opponent in a US Presidential Election.

otherwise, there would be no Steele file.

we all know this. you know this. this is the basis of the spying on Trump's campaign.

while Obama was in office.

the fbi cia working with a political party.

that is treason for everyone involved.

done. end of the story.

lock them up.

hang them all.

Wild that you think that clever.

To quip such an outstandingly irrelevant thing affirms desperation and a lack of any rational response to the evidence.

wrong.

the DNC chooses their "Partys" nominee.. you see.

then there is a campaign.

we know these 23 clowns just want a "I fought Trump" badge...

but that is within their partys rules.

not the USA.

the "democratic national convention" political party has nothing to do with the government.

you seem to think they are a part of the government and not a separate faction.

you would do well to read Gen Washington's farewell address regarding that subject.

as they lie, cheat, & steal.

check their net worth.

they've all got rich in office.

Kudos for advancing the defense to that of a 5th grader.

Shocking that warrants Kudos, but WOW has the deflection and BS been pathetic thus far.

Now explain to me
A) In the face of Trump's own carefully selected (I hire the best people) appointees in the intelligence community stating unequivocally that Russia was responsible for the 2016 interference campaign and supplying a thousand plus pages of evidence to support it, asking Ukraine to MANUFACTURE evidence saying otherwise is equal to "Fighting Corruption" ???

Part 2 of that question is asking why President Trump risked impeachment to exonerate Russia.

B) Why among dozens of Oligarchs and near a thousand companies, did Trump ONLY demand at threat of withholding military aid to an Ally under invasion by Russia, that they create and announce an investigation into a chief political rival of Trump's in the 2020 election. ANNOUNCE ON CNN mind you, the actual investigation he wanted them to invent was less important.

Bonus points if you can tell me the significance of "Personal Gain" in federal corruption law.
