This should not be a partisan issue. It should be an ethic and moral issue.

Trump has abused the power of Presidency. He does not represent the people, he represents his ego and his wealth. If he had nothing to hide then he would make his tax returns transparent.

We have someone who is so egotistical that he refuses to admit he is wrong, ever. Look at the Central Park 5 case and how he refuses to apologize to the boys that he paid for newspaper's ads to call for their execution, even after they were exonerated. Not only did he refuse to apologize, he criticized New York for settling with them.

This is a man with no moral backbone. He is an egotistical and narcissistic maniac who refuses to take no for an answer. Not only does he believes he has presidential immunity, he believes that immunity extends to investigating him in anyway. That is not how the President of the United States behaves, that is the behaviour of a tyrant.

Ma'am you need to move past your feelings for the man and focus on the facts.

Number one of which is that Donald J. Trump is putting America first with every single fibre of his being.

Here's a guy that was literally the last obstacle for the globalist elite to overcome and he's so successful in running the country he has time to troll their sorry @$$is.

The dems are fortifying his base with this deceitful onslaught on his presidency and it is growing by the day.

Donald Trump is not only saving America, he's laughing in the face of its would be destroyers while doing it!

I find it strange that no one on this thread brings up the biggest issue.

The Senate is the jury for impeachment. If ANYONE was to come out before a trial and say I'm voting this way or another they would be removed from the jury immediately. If it happens during the trial it would be ruled a miss trial. I think anyone who is saying they will vote one way or the other without seeing the facts should have to recuse themselves.

Our Congress took an oath to the constitution. Not to a man or a party.

Did you actually read what I wrote, or just saw criticism to Trump and figure you would give you ignorant opinion?

Hillary would have been a disaster. The democrats rigged the primaries so she would win. Their arrogance cost them the election.

I may be a harsh critic, but at the end of the day I will fair and even can be one of Trump's biggest allies. Criticism is a good thing.

While those who are Trump's biggest butt kissers and yes mans could very well be his biggest threat, the snake in the grass that bites.

Well no $h#! Sherlock!

Trump was elected because the democrats rigged the primaries so Hillary won. This upset many of us to settling for Trump. Unfortunately he has not stepped up to the plate and has not become the President we wanted(and needed). I will concede that he is a much better choice than Hillary.

I want Trump to be a great president, unfortunately he has been disappointing. It's not too late, he can still be great if he can be humble enough to listen to his critics.

Impeachment is not what America wants or needs. We need the President to know his boundries, to lead and unite the people, not cause a great divide.

The Democratic party has yet to give us a candidate that inspires hope and inspiration like Trump has. For the sake of the co7ntry I want Trump to do good, even if it's unpopular and even if it makes him humble himself.
Sanders would never have won against Trump. It’s pretty simple ... half the country doesn’t want to become a socialist banana republic.

"the Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments" -- notice the word 'try' as in trial

They can try it however they want, or not. That is their power. And realistically they are far more than 'jury'; they are judge, jury, and executioner. Now the House has taken some liberties and injected a heap of trial into their process as opposed to basic investigation, but it is not technically their place to do anything except pass on the recommendation for trial -- like a grand jury recommending specific charges.

Like it or not, them's the apples.

I am a man who owns guns, cleans my own fish, served in the Navy. Not sure where you are you going with the rant.

I do not want to see Trump fail, I want what is best for the country. Unchecked power is not how this country operates. Unlike running a business where the CEO is essentially the dictator of the company, our government has checks and balances in place to prevent a president from being a tyrant.

Obstruction of Justice?

That seems to be the favorite among impeachments and near impeachments ... Clinton and Nixon at least.

They impeached old Andrew Johnson for saying mean things ... and of course, that he was illiterate.

This has nothing to do with unchecked power, sir.

Your initial response reflects a hatred of the man based upon your feelings toward his character and has nothing to do with his success in running a country.

And while you may have served in the navy, you have aligned yourself with a group that is attempting to disrupt another patriot from serving his country.

Your Commander-in-Chief no less.

You are on the wrong side of history.

Not hate by any means. Just harsh criticism.

Believe it or not, I have the President's back. I will be a harsh critic, I will call him out for perceived character flaws. I want the country to succeed, especially the President.

This is why I still believe Trump can be a great president.

You got the wrong person man. It's like a football player saying the coach hates him because he is so harsh on him....but after the football player wins the championship MVP he realizes all that tough love from the coach was for a damn good reason.

I'm tired of having a hateful President! The most hateful President since the Calvin KKK Coolidge era.

Criticism is a good thing but you Trump lovers call any criticism, no matter how much it is deserved hate against the President.

Silent Cal was hateful and KKK? What, did he replay 'Birth of a Nation' in the White House or something in homage to the ground-breaking progressive Wilson?

Seriously, Coolidge's most notable attribute was how quiet he was and how he did not meddle in issues better left to the States and private sector.
