A personal meeting that important would have to be something not in the newspapers or on the internet. How would you expect somebody on ATS to know what would be classified or top secret information? It's logical to expect Pelosi would have more valuable intel on the situation than anybody here.

There is a very important question that many are bringing up, that has not yet been answered in this thread.

Why would Pelosi and Schiff need to go and give information (indirectly)?

Well, I have a several plausible reasons that logically follow.
1. Their digital communications are being tracked.
2. It was an information exchange, not just one way.
3. The excuse given was for figuring out what kind of funding was needed.
4. ISIS has been funded by certain government agencies in the past (this is up for serous debate)
5. Al Baghdadi has been speculated as not existing in the first place, hence his capacity to evade for so long.
6. Trump stated that important information was gained during the raid, but not until Pelosi came back, AND Pelosi was kept in the dark about the raid in the first place.
7. Israel has claimed financial issues, and a re-focus of expenditures on military strength at home rather than for the despora abroad.

So, this paints a rather interesting possibility.
The information trade had to be done through legacy means to prevent information from being tracked digitally via the NSA and Five Eyes nations in general. The information exchange had to do with the needs of "Al Baghdadi" and how to act with the US withdrawal from the region. This has to do mostly with financial concerns, and how money was and will continue to be funneled through back channels to ISIS. This funding has to go through back channels, and if there are digital markers of this, they will be found out. Finally information relating to the DNA of Baghdadi being confirmed and the raid giving important intel lets people know they were caught in a back channel fashion, due to Baghdadi never existing in the first place and exposing that important intel was gathered. Right after this Israel made a public statement based on a change in funding and a pull back from international issues to focus on its own military strength could also be a sign of this, especially because they mentioned the US as a key ally, but mentions that they must be able to protect themselves even if the US were not involved in any way. This hints towards Israel knowing that they can no longer depend upon US aid, even when there has never been a hint towards this aid not coming.

When you roll all of these together it makes a heck of a lot of sense.

Optics. Her leading a delegation conveys a message of "Look, we really are in charge in the U.S. If you are playing the loyalty game, we are right here showing you we will be the ones coming out of this impeachment thing winners"

There could be any number of parties that need(ed) that assurance (valid or not). That can play into this conspiracy as much as several other more obvious diplomatic ploys, but it was all optics about who is really running the U.S. It looks like nobody was buying it though.

Not really. - this is what actual intel, records, video evidence, SIGINT and the military operations confirmed by multiple countries show what happened. I can't fathom where you got the above ideas from. Does anyone outside the US even know or care who they are, let alone have a pre-set up uncrackale, untracable method of comms with them and is willing to die just to have some hypothetical conversation with them; given their surrounded by trusted experienced generals, financiers, fighters, press, pr, couriers and the fact their Bath'ists and at war with both Reps and Dems.

Baghdadi's entire life and early childhood are well documented, he was a shy quiet child with an interest in football but was a bit of a loner and spent most of his time praying in a mosque - he failed school and ad to resit
- Baghdadhi was a Ba'athist who wanted to serve for Saddam in the military but was banned due to being short sighted.
- He then went on to gain undergrad UP TO Phd in the Koran
- On Fen 4th 2004 he was captured and imprisoned by the US in the invasion of Iraq at Camp Bucca - he won the affactions and trust of the US soldiers by acting nice and compliant and was released the same year.

several counties all confirm they were tracking Baghdadhi since May.
- UK SAS and SBS were tracking him in Idlib on 25t May - with orders to kill
- Bagdadi's wives, nephew and courier were arrested by Iraqi security - the latter of which has been extensively interiewed the news after the announcement of Baghdadi's death - Iraqi Intel and SDF/Kurds infiltrated to collect more data/future movements and DNA.
-The UK RAF, SAS, SBS, UK Special Forces US sigintt intercepted a Baghdadi broadcast update to the ISIS magazine made from the Iraq/Syria border around three weeks before the assassination - this had to be abandandonned due to Trump ordering the US to evacuate without informing allies which left SDF, UK SBS, SF squadron B and French SF surrounded on all sides.
- There were numerous news reports about the secret mission in the UK red tops on and around 10th - 13th Octoer detailing the number of troops, missions, areas patrolled, what intel has been intercepted and were still up a couple of weeks later when Baghdadi was killed but struggling to find them now - LexisNexis should have it. There were at least 300 SAS sent then, story included how RAF and SBS picked up the broadcast calling for ISIS prisoners in what were Turkish held areas to riot and escape - 800 or 1800 captives were mentioned in the article as having escaped in a riot - NOT SURE IF THE PAPERS HAVE BEEN FORCED TO TAKE IT DOWN UNDER DA warnings - was still up for a week or so after Baghdadi's death but can't find any record at the moment
-The tracking continued until the eventual strike - which contrary to Trumps claims involved SDF, Kurd, Iraqi, SAS, SBS and UK SF squad B - would be pretty difficult for world political entourage who pre announced they were visiting a country near by to sneak in unnoticed while surrounded by 50+ press.
- Baghdadi didn't use comms equipment and I highly doubt if he's ever heard or would let alone care who Schiff and Pelosi are - let alone abbandon every single counter-surveilance tactic in the book and make contact with them (FOR NO MOTIVE, REASON, ADVANTAGE whatsoever with a complete absense of evidence of anything like it having happened.
In other words not a single documented fact backs up the claims.
- As all countries in the operation have confirmed, they were also tracking baghdaddi's aide who was organising safe houses and knew where he would be moving next and a detailed plan of how to conduct a succesful operation there.


Though the obvious reason this theory holds no water is they weren't even in Syria and the idea that journalists, aides, photographers, intel, comms guys, security personel and spies wouldn't be in an entourage of prominent politicians travelling abroad is pure illogical fantasy.:

Finding important things and evidence in the HQ of one of the biggest terror groups in history is hardly surprising - mentioning it is normal PR/War Propaganda and mind games to put fear and spread disarray in the enemy, it's been used since time immoral - I see no reason why he would wait until they were in the US to say it (they have youtube/dvd players etc... after all and if there was any proof to the claim surely Trump would announce it there and then when the world's eyes were watching, turning it into the pinacle of his career. securing him winning the next election instead of failing to mention any of it and opting to talk about how beautiful a dog was instead and facing the usual negative press he could have easily deflected the Dems way and finished the Party for generations if there was an iota of truth in any of it.

Surely it's basic common sense not to pre announce a sensitive operation like this which could have ended in massacre if it had leaked and hostile countries, groups, Baghdadi recieved for warning - It;s poor security to risk any leaks like that and I did agree with that part of his speach where the US leaks like no other, unless he's under obligation to tell them there's no foul in not doing and it doesn't constitute proof of a conspiracy.

As for the weapons, they were going from Libya via a bout called the Kirkusk, which docked near Turkey, the troops and weapons were transported onto 'Red Crescent' anmbulances to be smuggled ilegally inside - as far I can gatther ISIS weren't the prime group to be armed but in the early days was a mis of FSA and any anti Assad group - There was a Turkish journaist murdered for exposing it (was 'crashed into' by a lorry after publishing it. A hell of a lot of US air dropped weapons and ones abandoned in Iraq ended up being the main armoury of ISIS thouogh.

A lot oft the AP and Reuters photos of the red crescent vans, smuggled weapons and insurgents - the ground and surrounding areas are pulverized concrete/mud and dust - yet there's not a speck of dirt, discoloration or worn tread on their new white trainers - will see if I a can find it (several years old AP photo) but by far the worst staged photo I've seen.

TLR - The theory goes against everything that has been confirmed and documented about the raid independently from multiple sources and countries. Do you honestly think several countries have spent tens of trillions, 14 years losing thousands of troops and nearly a million civilians just to set Pelosi or Schiff up, or they'd need to move to a country near Syria for a major publicity event - only to try and send highly sensitive secret info in a country with the most intrusive electronic spying in the world and the world's top special forces from several countries monitoring any and all SIGINT.

No one outside the US cares who Pelosi and Schiff are - the only reason ISIS would be interested in them is to film themselves beheading them for one of their sick propaganda videos. It's only vaguely coherent if you ignore all the facts of Baghdadi's past, how he was tracked, his inner circle, the accounts of several armed forces invovled in it, the entire structure, history and funding of ISIS, geography and basic communications. It lacks any evidence, plausibility and relies on ignoring all evidence how he was tracked down and all evidence of Baghdadi's life, ISIS's tactics and structure and relies on the idea ISIS would give two #s what happens on US news.

Yup, true underpants gnomes styles - almost sounds too good to check out but been confirmed by a few officers and they all had straight faces telling it and seemed oblivious to the comedy element that he was almost geriatric, thought he was a god/prophet and spiritual leader but hadn't even learnt how to wipe his arse properly. Like all military statements it was embelished in areas to make the side making the statement played a bigger role than in realkity - but the SDF comander used all the hyperbole claiming the Kurds were in charge of 100% of the ground operation (in reality it was collaborative, one Kurd as insider spy, one other helping direct, two or three UKSAS, some UK SF for intel/surrounding area - group with the US doing the majority of the work in the actual raid compund.

The original statement was several tweets long and very detailed - covering from 15th May to back up plans to strike Al Baghdadi's next safe house as they were tracking that person too (trump falsely claimed he was a leader/contender of ISIS following Baghdadi's death).
