The IRONY is thick with this message from Candidate Bernie and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

She has officially endorsed Bernie and while commenting on some Middle-East stuff, the "Campaign" sent an "unintended" message !!

They were filmed in front of empty grocery shelves 🤣 😃 🤣

Somebody wasn't thinking clearly I guess 🤣😃🤣

The "excuse" was about stores being "out of" bottled water because of water shut-offs because of unpaid bills in Democrat Detroit 😃

Sanders and Tlaib do interview in front of empty grocery shelves; miss the perils of socialism irony

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and a photo of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., standing next to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., in a Detroit food pantry certainly fits that billing.

Sanders, a self-avowed socialist, was in town to receive Tlaib’s coveted endorsement, and the pair visited the Brightmoor Food Pantry, according to Detroit Free Press.

The intended message, according to the newspaper, was to note that the pantry is out of bottled water because so many Detroiters are getting their water shut off for non-payment of their bills.

😃😃

It was Democrats that made the decision to mess with the water system in the first place that screwed it all up. The plan was to make the process cheaper but still charge the same. It backfired.

It's kind of fitting that bernie stands in front of empty shelves....
All he needs is a bread line.

The comedy level of these Socialist clowns is off the charts.
They both look like they just woke up from the backseat of a car on a side street of Detroit.

I missed the biggest photographic opportunity of a lifetime.

I was in Seattle and there was a huge mural of Bernie Sanders with a big smile. Directly under it was a young well dressed (but dirty) man totally strung out on drugs.

So, the picture is taken just in front of the bottled water shelf I take. Typical political move. I guess people had to drink soft drinks for a week or so.

I am sure the bottle water companies were shipping lots of water there to distribute during the crisis. They always do.

Although, it does take about a half a gallon to wash your hair and a lot of people work in offices and clean hair is a necessity. More business for Nestles, their factory is probably running all their bottling lines. The shelves were probably only bare for a day or so.

Politicians all do that kind of thing, Bernie is just one of them.

I also find it funny how tiny that bottled water shelf is. There is macaroni and cheese on one side and what appears to be pie filling or something on the other.

Of course he does, maybe you should move to Detolit and see how well democratic socialism work before trying to inflict it on the rest of the country!a reply to: dfnj2015

They should do their next interview in front of empty zoo cages to remind everyone that socialist countries like Venezuela force their citizens to eat zoo animals.

Do you need help dieting because there are easier and less catastrophic ways than being starved by your government.

Aren't most of these people on utility assistance already? Or isn't there a water utility subsidy program? I know there's one for heating and electricity.

I’ve heard that in the old Union of Soviet Socialist Republics the bread shelves in the breadlines looked the same way if you didn’t get in line early enough on bread day.
