On September 24, Nancy Pelosi opened the Inquiry to six committees. The six committees charged with the task are the committees on Financial Services, the Judiciary, Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, Oversight and Reform, and Ways and Means. Let’s see the damage so far.

Financial Services: Chaired by Maxine Waters, has engaged in seditious commentary and urged violence and was in violation of House Ethics until it was overturned three years later. Expect to see more on Waters soon.

The Judiciary: Chaired by Jerry Nadler. There is personal animosity between Nadler and Trump going back to the 80’s. Ethically he should recuse himself but he accepts dirty campaign funds and backed the Iran deal so why be ethical now?

Intelligence: Chaired by Adam Schiff. Well there is that tabled motion to censure, but the disconcerting one is the amount of classified information he leaks or confirms.

Foreign Affairs: Chaired by Eliot Engel, slammed Omar’s prejudiced commentary but doesn’t want her removed from his committee and actually somewhat defends her. His Foreign Policy is that of a Warhawk. Vice Chair is Jauquin Castro (who’s twin brother is 2020 presidential candidate Julián Castro) might have an ethical dilemma of a conflict of interest since the main article of impeachment is trying to interfere with the 2020 election and all. But we know how ethics are in DC...

Oversight and Reform: Chaired by Elijah Cummings, was under federal investigation and had an untimely death. Vice Chair was Katie Hill who just resigned from the House rather than face ethics violations.

Ways and Means: Chaired by Richard Neal, should be brought up on ethics violations because he worked to strike down a free IRS tax filing system while taking donations from Intuit and H&R Block both of whom make and sell tax filing software. But interesting enough, he may turn out to be Trump’s only friend as he is the least progressive agent of chaos chairing the six committees. And this is the man that can demand Trump’s tax returns and he refuses to do so until he builds a good case on having them.

The impeachment inquiry is proceeding, it was just acknowledged by a Federal court and provided with grist for the mill.

You've given fascinating recitations of opinions about House Democrats, but, I'm not sure how these accusations, whether true or not, really have any effect on the Impeachment of DJT.

Care to expand on that? or was the title merely a point of departure for a Dem slag fest?

I still don't see the Impeachment of Trump happening at all, i don't think they would find anything on Trump at all. This Ukrainian phone call nothing burger is just like that Russian collision nonsense.

If nothing happens by next year. The GOP could have a good clear chance of taking back the house. The liberals haven't being anything counter productive.

Now, CNN and the liberal media are torturing their poll statistics, to force them to go anti-Trump.

The recent one showing Bernie or Biden or Warren handily beating President Trump had a 6.8% margin of error, on top of 68% of the respondents being Democrats. It took this expert on TV the other day 4 hours to find these underlying statistics!

What does that have to do with the Impeachment?

Also, is Rasmussen in the tank for the Libs too? Because the also show Trump's numbers in the crapper.

In the meantime, nothing gets done by the Do Nothing Dems.
Utterly useless.

“Unfortunately, the Intelligence Committee that I serve on hasn’t been spending a whole lot of time on these issues. We’ve been caught up in Adam Schiff’s secret impeachment inquiry, so we haven’t had a briefing on these issues,” Ratcliffe told Fox News

When asked by host Maria Bartiromo how long it has been since the committee had a briefing on terrorism, Ratcliffe said, “It’s been well over a month,” and he could not recall exactly when the last briefing was.

Democrats say they will rely on polling data to gauge if they have the public on their side.

They are actually that foolish.

LOL ... why should they do anything? The Grim Reaper rules the Senate after all and he takes pride in nothing happening.

All that Congress has done for the last decade (besides skyrocketing the deficit) is political theatre.

Do you only enjoy it when Republicans are in the Majority?

Foolish is as foolish does. Some folks only believe in the polls that reinforce their own failing beliefs.

You know how that is, right?

Exactly right. A House member pointed out the other day how Democrats have put forth more subpoenas this year, than they have legislation for improving Americans lives. PITIFUL.

They should always look at the underlying polling data (if they can find it!), and weigh the poll results against what their common-sense tells them.

All but 2 or 3 of the 2016 Presidential polls assumed Americans were stupid.

I doubt the demographics that gave the House to the Democrats are doing anything but heading in their direction.

Impeachment is going to happen. The Republican Senate will have to acquit a President that has obstructed justice openly, called on foreign powers to interfere with our elections, etc. etc.

If the Senate acquits Trump after America sees what's coming, not only will the Dems keep the House but will probably take the Senate and White House as well in 2020.

Which of course, they will squander away on stupidity as they are the party of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Nope. The 2016 polls were pretty much right on track as Clinton won the popular vote by 3 M.

Polls don't necessarily account for the EC.

But, hey ... some folks just pick the polls that say what they want and ignore the rest ... it's all good.

There is no actual impeachment inquiry without a vote of the House.

Without a vote of the House to start the inquiry, establishing the rules of the impeachment proceedings and then giving it to the Judiciary Committee to run then everything they are doing is just political theater for dummies.

Because if they don't vote on it until they are done with it and hand the whole mess over to the Senate, Trump has been denied due process and they have violated the 4th, 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments.

So it will not be heard by the Senate and thrown out.

But you knew that already, right?

The US government is obviously a three-ring circus at this point.

When Trump can stand up there and shout and scream and holler and wave his hands around like a maniac ranting and raving about various things and he seems like the most normal person in the government, you know it's all done.

So the USMCA bill that Pelosi has been sitting on for about a year and would really help farmers and ranchers...

That is being held up by the Senate?

Fascinating how your mind works.

You know what's coming next, I bet.

"Where does it say that in the Constitution?"

Around and around we go. I hate saying it, but Schiff and Pelosi can't be stopped. Let's get it on in the Senate. Shut 'em down with facts in public. Shame them. They will go down in flames.

Unless they just intend to drag it out, knowing it will go nowhere in the end.

You are incorrect. There is no requirement for a vote to begin impeachment investigations.

You are only correct insofaras there will likely be a formal resolution passed in mid-November to follow the routine that you describe. That will be in public view after the particulars are established.

I know that you've had the opportunity several times to learn the difference between White House talking points and reality, yet you still repeat the same nonsense. Trump is not on trial yet and so those spurious claims about due process are pure hogwash, and you know that. I myself have explained it to you on more than one occasion.

The Senate is apparently controlled by Mitch McConnell now, and he's already announced along with Ms. Lindsey that they're going to acquit Trump no matter wahat.
