As the Canada Prime Minister has just been elected with a historically low support of 33%, several provinces of Canada have begun moving for their exit from Canada. This includes Cascadia on the West, Alaurentia on the East, and, recently, Alberta on the center.

After having publicly supported Brexit, this morning Alaurentia has opened diplomatic talks with Wexit Alberta to propose mutual support and mutual recognition.

Canada is such a large area, it is only a question of time before it breaks down into smaller, new countries such as yours and mine. I wish to offer public support and recognition for your independent Alberta, in exchange for your public support and recognition for our Alaurentia. I feel that both our nations are the next faces of the Canada area, and therefore we would benefit from engaging in diplomatic relations and mutual support.

With 67% of the Canadians dissatisfied by the current political party, the climate has become more conductive than ever for a breakdown of the current federal power system.

Trump would be happy to work out a deal with them I'm sure.

A Yuge deal! The best, perfect deal!

This has been pushed on CBC (our federally funded ministry of truth)

The movement is real but I doubt it will go anywhere.

I think the governor general would have to sign off. The Monarch might take issue with this.

"Several provinces in Canada?" Several being... two? Alberta and Quebec, so one and a half, maybe. "Cascadia" and "Alaurentia", aren't provinces. They're barely movements.

This movement has been going on for two years and has amassed a WHOPPING following of 42😆. CBC shouldn't be giving them any attention.

Alberta will not exit canada. A couple peoples pipe dreams does not make an independent nation.

Wexit is such a lame name too. It sounds like the baby talk version of Brexit.

The people who talk separation in BC don't usually pair us up with Alberta. I think the general consensus of that crowd is to create a country from BC, Washington and Oregon, perhaps California if they ask nicely and promise free tacos.
