Dizzying amount of possibilities with this. Im sympathetic to the police. But freedom before security. Theres almost nothing they or their algorithms dont know. I remember people thinking they would get a chip implanted. They did, its just carried in their pocket

Not just there pockets, the internet of things and smart products will complete the process.

The implication being benevolent contol over our lives and consumption but the malevolent applications are also rather apparent and underpin the whole notion.

It's like globalization, we need to do it for the correct reasons, and not to fulfill the wet-dreams of the bankers, corporations, and politicians that "they" have in their pockets.
