The abusive person in a relationship always blames their partner.
Always.

So the husband wants to ruin her career because she shared a sandwich with him?

Why is Hill naked and the staffer not?
Dems are odd, not weird, just odd.

You can see from the photo that it's a "hair fetish" thing. Look at the expression on Rep. Hill's face. It's just like you see when Joe Biden sniffs hair and gropes females. An internal ecstasy of sorts.

I came to this conclusion while doing a little research, after the story broke yesterday.

You did research on the "hair fetish" thing?

How does one go about doing that kind of research?

You search on "hair fetish".

So politicians aren't allowed to have a sex life? Can you think of anyone a politician could have a sexual relationship with who wouldn't be construed as being "inappropriate"? Basically we treat these people like clergy when they're just people. Most people get into relationships with people they work with. Which totally makes sense. And if you're an authority figure, everyone is a subordinate.

They are allowed to have a sex life.

They are not allowed to fraternize.

Have you worked in a western society in the past 20 years? I have to believe you have not as if you had you'd know what fraternization means and how it can f*ck up an operation.

I was a captain in the army (not "clergy...") If I'd put myself in the position of f'ing anyone below me in the chain of command, there'd be serious repercussions under the UCMJ. Hell, I probably could get done for relations outside of the chain of command! And, rightly so. Even the appearance of impropriety can compromise you and your authority. Anyone who doesn't recognize that is a fool and doesn't deserve said authority.

There are real world reasons and about 60-70 years of experience as to why those repercussions exist.

Lastly, while it is true most couples meet in one sort of "workplace" or another, it is ALWAYS a bad idea to f*ck a subordinate and you do so at your own peril. Sure, it happens. Sometimes it works out well. I'd never chance it, but whatever floats your boat, I guess, in terms of aversion to risk.

The point is, if you do the deed, be willing to pay the price. And, please, do not make hypocritical excuses and attempt to blame others as this woman has done.

You know why they get away with it?

The Democrats get away with it over and over because they know that if they stick to their guns and support their radical agendas, their voters won't care at all.

If they support abortion on demand, confiscating guns, socialized health care, ever more welfare, ever higher taxes, etc., their constituents in many cases would actually let them shoot someone in the street and they could still get elected because for the left it's all about the means justifying the ends.

Here's a list of 17 other Democrats who were never held accountable.

12. Mel Reynolds (D-IL)
In 1994, a year and a half after taking office, congressman Mel Reynolds was indicted for sexual assault, criminal sexual abuse after having a sexual relationship with an underage campaign volunteer, whom he also solicited child pornography from. He also faced charges of obstruction of justice. Despite the charges, he continued to campaign and was reelected in 1994 after having no challenger. He only resigned from Congress after his conviction.

He got re-elected despite all of this! Granted, this guy had no challenger, but he only resigned after his conviction.

14. Gerry Studds (D-MA)
There were two Congressmen censured by the House of Representatives in 1983 for having sexual relationships with underage congressional pages—but only one's career wasn’t ended because of it. Republican Dan Crane was rightfully defeated, while Democrat Gerry Studds was reelected six more times by his constituents before retiring in 1997.

These two are closer to what we're seeing today in this situation. Both these men had relationships with underage pages. One is a (D), the other an (R). Guess which one went on to get elected *6* more times while the other saw it end his political career?

These are just some of the things on that list. But what they all have in common is people with constituencies who care more about political positions than ethics.

Except... Now she's producing messages wherein she shows it was not so consensual and she was afraid for her job if she "refused."

We are now just "believing" the victims, right?

Except Hill kinda admitted the whole thing. Or, can't you read?

Whether the subordinate's accusations are true or not, it kinda proves my point of being compromised by such actions.

It was consensual see, she even said so.

By way of rebuttal, I present the staffer's claims:

MeToo

[Thank you AndyFromMichigan]

Or, are we ignoring the victim again?

Caring about Sexual Harassment became a thing in the 90s. Its now considered inappropriate to have consensual relationships with your staff. Most large corporations and many small companies have yearly training on the subject and make it very clear that they do not approve of the behavior and will take disciplinary actions where it is warranted. They do not want to leave themselves open to sexual harassment litigation... even when all parties are consenting.

Why are politicians less accountable than the rest of us on this issue?

No one said otherwise. The progressive idea is that a subordinate can't consent because of the power differential. Therefore it is sexual harassment/assault even if the other party says yes, because they lack the power to say no.

This creeper is my district, I went to bed and our Steve Knight was winning handily in the largely red Antelope Valley and woke up to her winning because, get this, Provisional Ballots. That's another whole hokey scam the Democreepers pulled here in California to get Dems in strong GOP areas. Northern LA county/Antelope Valley is very strongly red not blue. I had no clue when I saw this it was Katie, but I've been lmfao ever since I figured it out. We're all working hard here to get that slime ball out and Steve back in, he was who we voted for before the Dems made up more rules to negate what the people actually want. As if stupid ass jungle elections weren't bad enough.
