It’s the low pensions, the privatisation of water, the rise in electricity prices, the healthcare system, the need for equal education rights,. The metro fare was just the trigger, it is symbolic. It made people say, ‘enough’. We will not be silenced.

When people can't afford their basic living expenses for themselves and their family don't be surprised when they take what they want from those who have everything.

King Louie XVI and Tsar Nicholas II ignored the plight of the masses because everyone in their courts was doing just fine. And we all know how that worked out for them.

Why didnt they just pick themselves up by their bootstraps?

Have to have boots to have bootstraps

To the one who evades tickets in the bus, the State pursues it even with inspectors in each whereabouts. But ‘do the past’ in large operations is something that enjoys legitimacy, despite the significant loss of resources for the treasury

In the 1980s, the national banking debacle forced several financial entities to intervene, among them the Bank of Talca that was in “cessation of payments” and that affected the Central Bank. The information of the time reveals that as of October 1981, the debt exceeded US $ 38 million at the time. Sebastián Piñera between March 1979 and September 1980 was the general manager of the Bank of Talca. In those years the "paper companies" that could fit the current denomination of "ideologically false" were discovered. A business model that seems to remain so current and appropriate to the times.
Our president preferred to declare himself a fugitive from Justice because of the scandal of the “Bank of Talca

There are reasons and there are reasons why someone is poor. More often than not, the reasons are: lazyness, fear, lack of ambition, wrong life choices. Only in minute cases, this reason is mental or physical dissability, which is another topic all together.

Majority of wealthy people are not thieves. Majority of them took risks, worked hard, sacrificed plenty to succeed. There are rotten apples among them, but to push for this "redistribution" stupidity is denouncing the whole human entrepreneurial spirit. It's regression back to the "dark" ages.

there are riots all over the world. my friend in Guinea, Africa sent me a pic of what happened to a child. it's too disturbing to show here. they have corrupt government and police, constantly facing oppression from all sides. and they are not allowed to own weapons to defend themselves. it's rocks vs assault rifles. Sick, i blame france for starting all of this.
