When we wake up tomorrow, we may be surprised by what will happen overnight concerning Boris and his wretched letter to the EU saying that his parliament wants him to ask the EU to grant the UK an extension to Article 50 until January 31, 2020, with a little note attached saying that he personally does not want an extensions at all...........

Will the EU interpret this as a formal request, despite his lack of enthusiasm for the idea, and grant it? If they do, the British government might then challenge the legality of their declaration of an extension in court by pointing out that he merely passed on the request and did not ask for it himself, so that he does not have to act in accordance with a request he never wanted or even made personally. If he times it right, the court may not have enough time to adjudicate on the matter (of course, the government will want to appeal any adverse decision to that bastion of political impartiality - the Supreme Court) and the UK will come out of the EU by default because his lack of a genuine request means that the extension was legally invalid.

We can only dream until then......

Who knows?
I have had enough and am going to learn the solo to Helloween's "I Want Out" and play it very loudly.
Makes me feel better.
May also have a go at Dave Gilmours "there's no way out of here"

I think they may take Macron's lead in saying "We're fed up with all this, we certainly don't want to stretch it out any longer." Also they're now good friends with Boris, because he made an agreement, so they don't need to offer an extension to force him back to the negotiating table. They would need to get together to make a reply- if they don't want to offer an extension, they might not think it was urgent.

Here you go.

Boris has sent two letters to The EU tonight.

One asking for an extension as he had to do by law. However he has not signed it.

The second letter is saying that Boris believes that an extension would be a mistake. This one he has signed.

They might just send it back if it's not signed.

Maybe they should contact his GP, arrange some kind of home visit?

I mean if he's forgetting to sign important documents and all that jazz.

He has complied with The Benn Law by asking for an extension.

There is nothing in that law that says the letter has to be signed.

The Serious Fraud Squad should be investigating all the hedge funds and profits made, their managers, and there inevitable links/connection to all these Brexit shenanigans.

Coz thats whats pretty much called profiting from other people's misery, and then some.

Just basic literacy, etiquette, nevermind common sense.

Guess these private educational establishments Boris and his ilk attended are not up to much after all?
