I’ve been trying to figure these two paintings out for a while with no luck . I’m not that good with cursive writing but I’ve had a few people look at it and they can’t get the name either .

These two pictures came out of Gallery called Multiple Impressions Spring St., New York, NY.

I’m hoping at least someone can translate all the writing on back .

Thank you in advance .

Don’t know if this one’s damaged or dirty ? But I know better than to clean it .

Layered paint on canvas not sure if it’s oil or acrylic . Well made frames around 10 “ x 15” .

Christian Eduardo Marambio. Looks like it says acrylico on it which would be acrylic I guess.
Freaky paintings, I dig em. XXI is 21?

El Lujo translated is “the luxury”

Don’t know if that helps, it’s all right there.

Can’t find anything on it. Meaning hang it on the wall and first person that says they like it gets it. Because I think the thing is hideous .

In my opinion, art has to be something more than an object that evokes a response, it needs aesthetic qualities and high craft. That being said . . .

In this case my response is it looks like an elementary school student's work at about first grade level. It also has some disturbing elements that seem to involve the artist's personal relationships. I wouldn't call it ugly but unsettling or disturbing would be how I characterize those pieces. It would be some good work for the Night Gallery TV series.

I certainly don't doubt that the artist may have some fame and that this work is likely worth some money to the right collector, but for me, it's better off left in storage than on display in some gallery.

I agree with you for all types of art with the exception of realism .

But hell we’ve got cameras now so you might as well take a picture .

Personally, I wouldn't consider all art crap except for realism, there are abstract works that have aesthetic beauty and high craftsmanship. Photography has become an art form since the invention of the camera, but IMO it also must also have aesthetic qualities and high craft to be photo art. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and each to his own tastes. I can be fairly critical of what is considered art in today's art world.
