Why an impeachment "inquiry"? Why is it that Nancy won't hold a vote?
It's because they've tried 3 times, and all 3 times it has failed. Twice under a Republican House, and once under the Democratically led House.
Hmmm... failed even under Democrat rule?
They've also introduced impeachment 3 more times in the House with resolutions that have gone nowhere.
December 2017 (Red House)
FAILED - 364 to 58 votes.
January 2018 (Red House)
FAILED - 355 to 66 votes.
July 2019 (Blue House)
FAILED - 332 to 95 votes.
Those are the impeachment resolutions, but that's not all....
March 2019 (Blue House)
H.Res.13 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.
March 2019 (Blue House)
H.Res.257 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Inquiring whether the House of Representatives should impeach Donald John Trump, President of the United
States of America.
May 2019 (Blue House)
Text - H.Res.396 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Authorizing and directing the Committee on the Judiciary to investigate whether sufficient grounds
exist for the House of Representatives to exercise the power vested by article 1, section 2, clause 5 of the Constitution in respect to acts of
misconduct by Donald John Trump, President of the United States.
Democrats, for the love of God, think as an American, not as a political ideology. You don't have to like our President to respect the American
Presidency, nobody can please everybody all of the time, it's not possible... there will always be differences. But this is not right what is
happening in our country... there is an obvious agenda stretching back to when the President first got elected and the true separation of powers is in
jeopardy when you have a House so far overstepping their Constitutional authority.
Legally speaking, until Pelosi holds another vote, the previous vote should stand. The House voted against pursuing an impeachment inquiry previously,
therefore the current proceedings is the seeds for a true Constitutional crisis.
You're my boy Blue (Varsity Blues movie reference for the youngins), but start asking the right questions because as of late, you're not and it's
obvious to everyone else that isn't Blue (not just Republicans, there are actually "other" parties too).
