Why an impeachment "inquiry"? Why is it that Nancy won't hold a vote?

It's because they've tried 3 times, and all 3 times it has failed. Twice under a Republican House, and once under the Democratically led House. Hmmm... failed even under Democrat rule?

They've also introduced impeachment 3 more times in the House with resolutions that have gone nowhere.

December 2017 (Red House)

HRes 646

FAILED - 364 to 58 votes.

January 2018 (Red House)

HRes 705

FAILED - 355 to 66 votes.

July 2019 (Blue House)

HRes 498

FAILED - 332 to 95 votes.

Those are the impeachment resolutions, but that's not all....

March 2019 (Blue House)

H.Res.13 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.

HRes 13

NOWHERE.

March 2019 (Blue House)

H.Res.257 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Inquiring whether the House of Representatives should impeach Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America.

HRes 257

NOWHERE.

May 2019 (Blue House)

Text - H.Res.396 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Authorizing and directing the Committee on the Judiciary to investigate whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to exercise the power vested by article 1, section 2, clause 5 of the Constitution in respect to acts of misconduct by Donald John Trump, President of the United States.

HRes 396

NOWHERE.

Democrats, for the love of God, think as an American, not as a political ideology. You don't have to like our President to respect the American Presidency, nobody can please everybody all of the time, it's not possible... there will always be differences. But this is not right what is happening in our country... there is an obvious agenda stretching back to when the President first got elected and the true separation of powers is in jeopardy when you have a House so far overstepping their Constitutional authority.

Legally speaking, until Pelosi holds another vote, the previous vote should stand. The House voted against pursuing an impeachment inquiry previously, therefore the current proceedings is the seeds for a true Constitutional crisis.

You're my boy Blue (Varsity Blues movie reference for the youngins), but start asking the right questions because as of late, you're not and it's obvious to everyone else that isn't Blue (not just Republicans, there are actually "other" parties too).

I have read this word so often now and it is getting so annoying.

"impeachment"

So I started to think about it being a situation where someone is overflooded with peaches by accident. Like, a truck haul full of it. Or swimming in peaches. That kind of makes it bearable, hearing/reading the word.

My guess is she keeps testing the waters to see if something will stick, otherwise she doesn't want to ruin her already ruined reputation by doing something even more stupid than she already has and utterly fail at it. She wants to impeach but she doesn't want a failed impeachment.

Maybe that's how her brain works. No telling. Dem politicians have stopped making sense for as long as I can remember.

This is worse than Hillary's record running for president.

I’m sorry but nothing is worse than that.

It's those hip new breath mints for blow hards called "Imp Peach Mints". They're like Tic-Tacs but peach flavored. Liberals and socialists love 'em. Developed by the DNC through a Ukrainian company and manufactured in Russia.

They'll need to come up with a new distraction soon to keep the masses engaged.
