I work on this from time to time and it includes a lot of different genres, but here are my three poppy solids:

End of the Line - Traveling Wilburys - on the death of Ray Obison - I love this one.

The contempory arrangement by Jacob Collier of the Lionel Ritchie song "All Night Long"; He cut the video over a year....

And one I table danced to at the Roxy in the 70's: Southside Johnny and the Ashbury Jukes...

I see "Memorial Playlist"

Did you loose some one?

What kind of Music are you looking for?

It's my own - I'll have an extensive playlist on flash drives for people....

Not looking for anything but will listen to most all comers - not a fan of polka and opera, except....

What would you put on your memorial playlist????

A good one for those who leave us too early. Happy and upbeat.

Dad's favorite was Billy Joel. Put this on the jukebox while out with my brother and his fiancee. We went from sad drinking to the stereotypical drunk people with arms around one another's shoulders singing along terribly, but oh so happy.

Needless to say, we then got cut off. Totally worth it.

Funny this thread should be here. Believe it or not, I was trying to figure out how to send a message on this site to somebody. Its been so long I literally completely forgot how to do it. And then while clicking around I even forgot we got a Wall, and even a friendslist. I have not clicked on that in literally over 4 years.

I remember some of them now, my past internet friends and acquaintances, even the ones I erased from my friends list, like half the noonaut and fortean crew in all there reincarnations on this site that they had. As they were annoying me with there guessing games.

And while looking through one particular internet friends wall, Iamshict wall. An older lady, she died some years ago of old age, she used to frequent the other music thread. The only one I really miss, the others can go suck a lemon, most especially since there probably around somewhere, trolling.

The traveling willburys was on her wall.

If I had to make a memorial wall of songs, it would be in a whole hell of a lot category. If I can even remember them all, at all.

But here are a few for the wall.

Nice - thanks.

I'd prefer to laugh with the saints and bodhisattvas myself.

For realz? Pretty sure everybody has heard those songs before. And the Elvis one, not to sure, could be from a movie i think I may have seen something like it many years ago. But hey! Elvis right. Some time ago.

The guy does have a few were they brought him back to the beat of his old songs. Cant remember the other one right now, it was in the 2000s or sometime around there, dont think it was an original but a remake, but rubberneking is one of them.

And speaking of Mary Jane.
