When the IG stated that the whistleblower was a registered Democrat and had a prior relationship with a current 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, some people wondered if this complaint was just part of another Dem scheme to get at Trump.

Today, one of the whistleblower’s lawyers, Mark Zaid, acknowledged in a statement released today, that their client did in fact come in contact with presidential candidates from "both parties", but only “in their roles as elected officials.” Zaid also states the whistleblower’s complaint is “credible.” Sounds a lot like doublespeak to me.

Credible? Many Republicans have issues with the whistleblower’s claims, because they DO NOT appear in the declassified transcript of the call between Trump and the Ukrainian leader, Volodymyr Zelensky.

The complaint stated that Trump made a “specific request that the Ukrainian leader locate and turn over servers used by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and examined by the U.S. cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike" -- a request that does not appear in the declassified transcript of the call released by the Trump administration on Tuesday. Trump mentioned CrowdStrike, but did not demand the server.

And according to the whistleblower complaint, by mid-May, U.S. diplomat Kurt Volker sought to "contain the damage" from Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani's outreach to Ukraine. But a July 19 text message conversation from Volker to Giuliani, provided to Fox News on Thursday, showed that Volker had in fact encouraged Giuliani to reach out to Ukraine -- even sending Giuliani a message reading, "connecting you here with Andrey Yermak, who is very close to President Zelensky."

www.foxnews.com...

Does the whistleblower’s lawyer have a bone to pick with President Trump? He has made some interesting comments and tweets in the past, that would suggest that he “had been fishing for plaintiffs to launch a lawsuit” at Trump, as well as engaging in “an open casting call for whistleblowers on Twitter as Trump took office.”

Zaid acknowledged that he had been fishing for plaintiffs to launch a lawsuit concerning the Trump hotel in Washington, D.C., alleging unfair competition by the president and his associates.

And Zaid put out something of an open casting call for whistleblowers on Twitter as Trump took office, writing that CIA employees should "come to" his law firm "to lawfully challenge" the new president.

www.foxnews.com...

Zaid also likes to toot his own horn, by calling on a few Hollywood celebrities (who hate Trump) to promote his "whistleblower" law firm.

Naw, nothing here to suggest that there's any conspiracy of a "set-up," just a whistleblower who's a registered Democrat who got cozy with a Democratic candidate, oops, I mean "elected official" and an anti-Trump lawyer who has a boat load of animosity toward President Trump.

Yeah well....it’s taking too damn long, we need something like a “Nuclear Option” to speed up the process.

The WH should have two locations. One in a Republican stronghold and one in a Democrat stronghold. They can choose where they feel the "accommodations" are more adequate. It's unfair for a Republican to be in an environment heavily biased by the other party. I could not imagine moving into a neighborhood where 95% of the people there hated my guts. I wouldn't move there period!!

All this wasted time, all this wasted money, when they can be passing bills that matter. It's a coup. That's not to say they aren't passing bills, but they could be passing more. Why has politics become reality t.v.?

Andrew Bakaj, now a managing partner at the Compass Rose Legal Group, interned for Schumer in the spring of 2001 and for Clinton in the fall of the same year, according to Bakaj’s LinkedIn page.

The narrative is unraveling fast.
Just another Dem hit job on Trump, you would have to be an illiterate asshole to believe otherwise.
Speaking of, where are they all at tonight?
Must be all waiting for new marching (posting) orders to arrive.

They're worn out from defending an imploding impeachment sham. Besides, don't you ever get tired of debating them?

I think they are actually doing that for us.

Impeachment Inquisition to head off Investigations ending up with Indictments.

This is the funnest year EVER for me in politics.

Seeing my former party lurching around killing themselves before the cops even show up...

I have to ask, why.

Why hate Trump.

He's lowered taxes, lauded our vets, bolstered the economy, lowered unemployment, strengthened our borders.

And that's a reason to hate him?

Well first off, CNN and MSDNC watchers don't know anything about what you just posted.

Because they certainly haven't reported it.

Second, he got in the way of a socialist Utopia that we were headed for.

Like Baltimore Utopia.

And lastly, he's orange and can't feed fish right.

Just the last one should have gotten him impeached by now.

But you're orange too so I can see why you don't understand that part.

I'm more cinnamon than orange, and by the way, that was my stripper name.

So it's the media that hates him and people (who are getting paid more) but still hate him because the media tells them to hate him.

Because he changed parties when the Democrats went too far left.

All of Trump’s successes could have been Democrat successes, if only...

But they have AOC now, so far trade, I guess.
