Free hardback book for people in Europe.....Quick review.....

You gotta check this free book out!
The first series is mainly horror and has got everything, stoning your wife to death if you find she isn't a virgin, same gathering wood on the Sabbath, that's a good stoning to death as well but by the whole village.
The book of Hebrews is also pretty brutal lots of stonings and cutting bodies in half and then burning them, never mind leviticus, don't hold your same sex partner's hand in that world, you'd be screwed, way worse than things are today.

There's also genocide, mass baby killing, all sorts, so if you like your horror I recommend series 1 but it is hard reading at times.

Now this book has a second series (new testament) And it's a total change for the author, instead of the dystopian world full of fear, violence, and inhumane treatment, with a few crimes against humanity thrown in, the writer seems to have completely changed his original plan about how to treat humans and influence their lives.

No, in this twist of plot a new hero emerges, says he's actually the guy who did all the bad ass stuff in the previous X thousand years but has found the light and wants people to chill with each other. Still got some strict rules though but he gets a few stonings himself for being nice. He did kick off in a casino as well and got away with it, did magic n stuff as well, wasn't popular with the establishment though, they got a banning order on his organisation similar to modern anti terrorist laws, but anyway, and look away now if you dont want a spoiler....................







....the establishment brutally killed him but being god as the same time as being a magic spirit and his own son, even though they locked him in a cave, he came back to life then did a runner...still a warrant out for his arrest I think 🤔

In closing, if you want violence, gore, magic, total fantasy and escapism this is a great read 👍 Totally confuses the reader why in the second series such a massive change of direction with moral values though, no explanation why the God overlord character started being nice.
Change of heart? Realised it was a mistake needed fixing? Who knows, I'm still working on that one, but there hasn't been a miracle for a couple of thousand years now so maybe the next book will come out soon and complete a trilogy 😁

Also remember, if you didn’t want to be a part of that system you could travel down the road and become a part of a different community

This or that was an era when people burned babies, child sacrifice, cheap living and cheaper lives. A system that seemed harsh was implemented because outside of those laws, people were at constant war, kind of like the MIddle East now or some of those cities in the US that you are fearful of entering
Look at Israel in the Old Testament and they were functional in a time of disfunction.

And no, God didn’t change, God always wanted love to be the law, problem was people are violent and malevolent.

Surprise religions have really dark rules and moments in their holy books. Shocker! I mean who cares. There isn't a single religion that I can think of that doesn't have some dark stuff in it. At least most of those religions have moved on and passed those old rules and instead embraced a modernised view on it. That is all but one sadly merely mentioning that Middle Eastern religion in a negative way seems to get people into trouble but I'm sure by merely mentioning that it was a Middle Eastern religion people will get my meaning.

I'm not part of a mainstream religion, although my family are or were I guess Roman Catholics, I don't care what people want to believe in just as long as your religion doesn't force you to decapitate or bring some harm onto me or mine, if it doesn't then you can believe in the Man on the Moon as your lord and saviour.

Thats funny, it seems to me that religious leaders does the exact opposite, than what they preach. I have seen plenty of atheist who where able to behave nicely towards other people, i have even seen people from all other religions behave nicely towards other people, how is that a christian thing?

Surprised me to be honest because I don't know anyone who believes in gods so I forgot some people who do believe such things sometimes get offended. Why I have absolutely no idea, if an individual believes some unverifiable thing and others chuckle about it how does it affect them?
If their faith is so strong and they 'know' their god exists then it should be water off a ducks back if I make a joke book review inn the jokes forum 😂

Ill do some research and more reading than I have on the Qur'an and do a book review on that when I have the time, easier for me with the Bible though, I was brainwashed with it as a child.

Is hell eternal for humanity, are you sure and if so why?
Jesus taught love, the apostles taught love, they rarely taught fear

The Gospel of Christ is the good news, preaching hell is not good news. It’s not surprising some people react so hostile when eternal hell is held over their heads. God is love, doesn’t work with eternal punishment logically

I also don’t believe humans are eternal so won’t be cast into hell eternally.
