It had better be EARLY next week. Americans pay little attention to what's going on in D.C. as it is. After the Thanksgiving rush/shopping begins, forget it. Even Congress is leaving town next Thursday (11/21) for a 10 day vacation.

Not sure why...but I have a feeling what is coming will stop Congress from leaving.

One guy's comment makes it clear that it is not a transcript.

In fact, if you go to the document itself there is a cautionary note at the bottom of the very first page:

CAUTION: A Memorandum of a Telephone Conversation.· (TELCON) is not a verbatim transcript of a
discussion. The text in this document records the notes and recollections of Situation Room Duty
"Officers and-NSC policy staff assigned t_o listen.and memorialize the conversation in written form
as the conversation takes place. A numper of factors can affect 'the accuracy of the reco�d,
including poor telecommunications connections and variations in accent and/or interpretation.
The word "inaudible" is used to indifate portions of a conversation that the notetaker was unable
to hear.

That leaves the content of the document open to interpretation.

Only the two respective Presidents can clear this all up, which THEY HAVE.

Yup. I heard a spot on NPR earlier this evening. They had someone on who was ousted from the State Department over all of this. Of course, she's an "expert" and in her "expert opinion" the release of the IG report is going to dissuade people from going to work for the .Gov in the future.
