Wife and I had a close call driving back from FL on that aweful hwy that goes thru FtMeade. Driving at night in fog, she got frustrated and pulled over one exit before the HQ, making me drive from there. I barely got going and NSA Police shot out of their spider hole across 3 lanes of traffic right at the side of our Audi. As I remember it, I held my lane and made them work to get in front of me. For about a mile, they stuck like glue, then pulled off. I'm sure we were thoroughly scanned from far back, and not considered a threat, other than the Chinese Firedrill. It was completely inadvertent, to be sure.

It's very plausible on newer keyboards; so why not?

Already been at least one case in which a hidden mike was recording keyboard noise from a PC. Turns out the keys have interesting audio signatures.
