You think it’s strange that someone w/a Ukrainian background is a National Security Expert on Ukraine? Really? I guess this is news to you.
Vindman is a patriot who swore an oath to our Constitution and meant it, unlike tRump. a reply to: CoramDeo

Trump also swore an oath to protect the Constitution. So did the S/T members of Congress. Why don't we all take a look at who's expanding our rights, and who's restricting our rights before you throw poo at everyone.

You missed my point.

I certainly don't question his expertise, he's well educated and obviously an expert in Ukranian affairs.

What i find strange is that so many involved inthe impeachment inquiry, for Pelosi, to Pelosi's son, to Schiff, to Alexander, to Alexander's brother, to Joe, to hunter, to many others in the former administration, and on and on, have ties, and reason to impede a close look into, things that have happened in the Ukraine.

Additionally, you make a huge mistake placing a halo over someone's head just because they swore an oath. There are a lot of rotten apples in the basket of military personnel. His oath and his service to this country do not place him above reproach.

I invite you to take a step back, look at the bigger picture, and stop jumping down my throat when I fail to make myself clear.

You have a little bit of contempt on your lower lip. Ya might want to wipe that off.

Maybe the 2014 uprising in Ukraine was more then what it appeared to be? All the players popping up recently, and the crowd of Italian vacationers seem to be the same ones that were talked about during the 2014 revolution season.

His "prepared statement" sounds right out of the rags to riches tale...just like Obama's. Oh, yeah...his pop even had to work multiple jobs while learning English at night. All the requisite storybook points are in there. Then voila! Just like magic: Harvard, Purple Heart, D.C. jobs, intelligence entry, National Security Council, and now.....???

Just sayin'.

Maybe Trump, a BUILDER of buildings, especially of hotels and casinos and golf courses all around the globe, thought of bugging all of his properties in advance of his 'political activation'? Was his decades'-old plan to become President of the U.S., and to drain the swamp, pre-planned?

Okay, no. Scratch that!

If I'm reading correctly, he also has a twin brother that is legal counsel at NSC. How convenient.

Again, just sayin'.

Deep state spy. But, I mean, that goes without saying. Everyone knows this too is DOA. I mean, FFS, we have the transcripts.

I have a feeling that most of what's happened in Ukraine, with respect to the perpetually unstable governance that they have seen since indepencence, has mostly been the work of Russia. My gut tells me that power players in the US government were able to take advantage of the unstabel situation to do what they normally would not be able to do in a lot of other countries.

It appears, to me, that the Nanci Pelosis, and Hilary Clintons on the left are so vocal about Russia, because they fear that the cash cow that is the Ukraine is in danger. Don't get me wrong, I don't think of Russia as a rusted ally (not even sure what that means with any country anymore, maybe Canada), but I feel like tha direct threat to our national interests is overblown. Ukraine is a pet of the left, so Russia is their natural enemy.

I know that's about as deep as a puddle of water, but that's all I have to offer.

There's a new poll out that shows 59% of registered voters are against impeachment.

www.washingtonexaminer.com...

The Suffolk pollsters gave 1,000 registered voters an opportunity to choose among three options regarding impeachment. Which did respondents personally prefer? A) The House of Representatives should vote to impeach President Trump. B) The House should continue investigating Trump, but not vote to impeach him. C) Congress should drop its investigations into President Trump and administration.

36% want to proceed with impeachment. 22% want to continue investigating but not move to impeach (so weird.) 37% want them to drop impeachment all together.

So the largest block of voters want them to drop it and 59% of the entire group are not in favor of impeachment.

Maybe this is why the Dems are walking back Thursday's vote. Just a little miscalculation. Lol

And here's a little more clarity on the whole situation. They walked back the thing on Thursday and have just now (apparently) said they'll introduce legislation tomorrow. Looks like they're moving forward with impeachment after all.

www.washingtonexaminer.com...

It appears that the legislation outlines basically what they're doing for this impeachment process. None of this makes much sense to me honestly, but they say we are gonna get to hear from witnesses in public. And it says in there they'll be passing their evidence gathered so far and whatever comes from the hearings off to the Senate.

Best part is the following:

Republicans, who are in the minority, will have the right to call witnesses and even issue subpoenas, but only if the majority Democrats agree first.

ETA: They're basically just buying themselves time. They're saying that they're going to trot out these witnesses. Presumably the ones they've had hidden down in the basement these last few weeks. Once in a public setting Republicans can only take part of the Dems agree to it first. Then they'll pass their "evidence" over to Nadless committee (judiciary committee) to draw up impeachment articles.

Something needs to be done about all this, IMO. They're making a mockery of this impeachment thing. It would be funny if it weren't so tragic.

Thanks CM. I was wanting to include more visuals of what was being done, but the auto formatting on this site makes it a bit difficult. Especially with long chains of number sets.

I believe that is the entire point...

Q#3113

Never interfere with an enemy……..
Ammunition is hard to come by.
Q

Things are not going to come to light in an organized fashion if the "enemy" does not want those things to come to light. Encourage them to be themselves, give them a rope of infinite nature and make sure to stand back.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) said Tuesday that he will likely vote against a resolution by House Democrats to formalize their secret impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, prompting more uncertainly around whether Thursday’s expected vote will go on as planned.

They're trying to keep the embers going without starting a fire. Because, if a fire starts it will get out of hand fast. The fire department will have to respond to douse the flames, and we know who's all going to end up wet.

But it's pretty obvious that there are so many Ukranian connections; Putin took the Crimea and its' been on a front of the new cold war ever since, and since TRUMP decided to do his shenanigans to undermine the new president there__for his own personal gain__that's why it's a nexus. a reply to: CoramDeo
