sort of off topic (but not), has anyone ever looked into the symbolic meaning behind the gesture of crossing fingers? 'keep your fingers crossed ' as a sign of good luck. Also, crossing your fingers behind your back while telling a lie. Is there any correlation to the Cross or to the letter X ?
