(My formal request absovles any causality violator from any assumption of their interferring with the assumed natural flow of time or history.)

Suicide only creates problems for those who love you, if something is bothering you talk about it instead of avoiding the issues. Why throw away your chance at life because you are too afraid to confront it? At least tell a friend or a cousin about what you are thinking so they can help you out. My cousin hung himself and i never saw it coming. He never once mentioned suicide and never seemed depressed. After the fact it becomes easier to understand why things happen but foresight is difficult without some clues.

Every generation has its terror theme and John Titor gave us civil war. Thankfully and perhaps mercifully he also gave it a short life since the time he predicted has passed. I spent my teenage years laying awake at night waiting for the USSR to send an ICBM - we were told it was inevitable. I marched marches and wrote letters to try to effect a different outcome. Looking back, I don't think the marches and letters did a bloody thing but that sanity prevailed when the consequences of actions were considered.
Although I still haven't made up my mind about John Titor I won't allow his words to distract me like the ICBM's did back in the 80's and I urge the rest of us to do the same. LIVE YOUR LIFE with honesty and integrity, respectful of all the life forms we share this planet with, WITHOUT FEAR. If the enemy comes and you are in your home, offer him a sandwich and a warm place to sleep. If you are a stranded time traveller, stay a while and make some friends - don't commit suicide for God's sakes - smell a flower and watch a cloud float overhead. Have you been outside lately? Go find a forest and enjoy it.

above all else i agree with thinker. do you and do it right. dont focus on titor mainly because we arent even sure if hes true. sure take some time to study it when your bored, but dont take it too serious. gotta focus on the immediate problems, thats what im doing.

I copied all the Titor text and put it in my Palm Pilot so I can read it when I'm bored. I do find it interesting - but I've let Titor give me the gift of making life and the universe even more interesting and mysterious than it was before I heard of him, and for that alone I thank him. The mark of a good answer is the number of new questions it raises - Titor brought me many.

yea i dont care, it just means be you and make sure you stick to that because its all your going to have in this life
"do you and do it right" just be you and dont make any mistakes about it, fully follow what works for you. find out what fits you, but also follow through with it.

I'll now add my own thoughts that echo the same lines and TRY to stay on topic.

I posted a thread about this recently. Eveyone seems to flock to bad news, everyone loves to jump on the bandwagon, everyone loves to kick the percieved enemy who arnt in many cases even your enemy.

People like Mr Titor love to create riddles about the future giving just enough to keep you reading. Had I posted this 12 months ago people would shoot this post down pointing to 'evidence'

Evidence about mr Titor is the same as people who like to quote fromt he bible and God ........ there is no 'evidence' only rhumours, lectures from people who just re-feed the same stuff over and over ..... do it for a long enough period and people believe it is FACT, just because a lie has been about for 10 generations doesnt make it fact ...... its just an old lie

Going back to what Thinker said regarding the cold war ....... the world is like that, people with semi decent brains (and even those with limited brains that mingle between those with brains) become entangled with the current fears but these normally always pass by.

No on in China, Russia, Iran or Syria want a world war. No one (in their right minds) wants to die today. Okay so your going to throw radical suicide bombers at me as evidence but these are NOT countries with weapons of mass destruction.

These are dangerious time ...... so was the 80's, so was the 40's and so was the 1914 - 1918 ....... the world goes on

Are there secret military projects, space projects, secret groups of people? Yes ofcourse there are but does it really matter? These things normally have a simple purpose (Spy planes spy, secret groups talk about secret stuff to do with general government business) just accept it is there and its normal. There is no 'cover up' ....... its covered up just like you used to hide your porn from your mom. Some stuff gets covered up because it always does, there is no big SECRET, no master plan just normal life with normal stuff

Chill out and I hope anyone who reads this has an eventful life, doesnt hurt anyone on purpose and gets to to all the things that interests them before their time on this planet is over

I think I found why the timeline John described was not similar to us in terms of years and why he didn't said anything about 9/11.

He said something similar to this: Watch out, things can really change quick in the next months.

I think that in his timeline, 9/11 didn't happen and he was talking about another thing, an economic crash.

A lot of economics said that if the 9/11 wouldn't have happenned, there would have been a economic crash like the one of 1929 by the end of 2001 or at the beginning of 2002. So I think that would have gone to civil war and all the things that JT said.

So if he was a true time traveller, I think this is what happenned on his timeline. So all the timeframe JT said, is false.

But with the Euro-based iranian petro-bourse (if it exist) will cause the US economy to collapse and maybe lead us to the world JT described.

Any thought?

I agree. It's all crap and a hoax. 9/11? Yeah, 2005 civil war? Don't see it in 2006 yet, where is it? I posted on another thread about JT, and I think the best is the pictures that he took. Great camera in 2035, look at the tech on it. You wouldthink in 2035 there wouldbe better tech on camera's, right?

I have read what i think are all Titors posts and then i even bought the dumb book on amazon to check. could i be missing it repeatedly? i can't find a quote where he says it didn't happen.

One would think 9/11 would count for way more than 2% divergence especially with all of the OTHER things that spin into and out of it. hmmmm.

The US's GNP in 2000 was probably in the high 10trillions or low 11trillion. This is about 1/5th of all our money! Missing! Thankfully, for them, a well staged 9/11 took the front page story in the newspapers the next day. (For comparison: Germany's GNP in 2005 was 2.44trillion, ranked 6th)

Its possible that a financial threat could have happened, and it is one excuse that could be used by the president and FEMA to decalre a national emergency, which might lead to a civil war. It wouldnt lead to a war abroad, and war is one heavily used money making scheme. With out Sept11th we wouldnt have been in Iraq. And Iraq would have switched to the Euro as planned with out us having an excuse to have invaded. Plus Iran would have switched to the Euro eventually (maybe sooner than later this month). Both of these events were, and are, expected to have a huge negative effect on the USDollar.

It doesnt take much to make Americans want to kill eachother for some furniture and TV's during a riot.
