Almost three dozen Disney theme park workers have been arrested for alleged kiddie-sex crimes since 2006, according to a broadcast report.

Dozens of Disney World workers arrested in child sex stings

I don't know why this surprises me.

I guess they tend to congregate where their intended victims are most plentiful.

I think it's sickening...and if caught and found guilty, they should be castrated without anesthesia and thrown in the Hudson River in mid January.

So, are we going to treat Disney like we treated the Catholic Church, or are we going to ignore this, because Disney?

That's a very good question.

I guess we'll find out soon enough. The fact that it's a major story in a major NY newspaper gives me a little hope. It would have been better if it came from the NY Times, but the NY Post has a very large national circulation too.

We'll see...

Since 2006, so about 3 people per year.

“The numbers reported by CNN represent one one-hundredth of 1 percent of the 300,000 people we have employed during this time period.

So it looks like Disney workers, on the whole, are less likely to be involved in such activity than the population as a whole. Of course, that doesn't prevent you from demonizing Disney.

Since 2006, how many Disney Execs have been charged with sexually abusing Disney Movie and TV Teens and Tweens?

If you're talking to me - I didn't demonize Disney, the MSM did.

Don't shoot the messenger...

Thank you.

Disney Corporate sexual misconduct isn't one of my fields of knowledge.

Now the big question..... How many have settled out of Court?

Wasn't Harvey Weinsteins film Company a subsidiary of Disney? Don't remember exactly.

3 People a year doesn't seem out of line with the general population. Figure thousands of employees. Bad but not headline worthy. Charged at work or the other places.

Although you disclaim any responsibility for vilifying Disney here, it's inherent in the headline. And since T&C says you have to copy the headline of a quoted article, you get a pass, thought it's kind of a chicken-#### pass. The headline still suggests pedophiles are gravitated to Disney. But when you examine how many people over what length of time it turns out that the population of pedophiles who worked for Disney is FAR LESS than the population of pedophiles in the general population. So a much more accurate headline would have been: Your kids are safe at Disney because there are far fewer pedophiles there than anywhere else. The headline is the opposite of reality, and that's the definition of fake news. So CNN, in this case, politicized the issue and effectively claimed the opposite of the truth. True, you did not originate the untruth; you just passed it on without scrutinizing it.

Well Disney himself seems suspect (to me) his good Friend the artist was scary. Look up his art Salvador Dali.

It’s a little more iffy than that...

It is about child porn and those dateline stings and I saw how shady those can be up close...

I replaced this guy as manager of a bowling alley who was caught in a dateline sting . The thing is this guy was “harmless” he had very sever diabetes and required an insulin pump.

I have zero doubt my 16 year old daughter could win a fight against him right now.

He was a virgin until like his late 20s... he met some girl online and they got married. The honeymoon apparently sucked and she decided she didn’t want to have sex anymore.

I have no doubt the sting people entrapped him... he had zero self confidence, zero physical ability and killer instinct.

I think the reason he was willing is because sexually he was about as advanced as a 15 year old..

Pedophilia is rampant all the way up to the top Executive offices of Walt Disney. It didn't just start recently either.

So if I understand you correctly - I am responsible for posting a headline from an MSM newspaper? On ATS?!?

But you're giving me a chickensh#t pass?

Seriously?

I have no dog in this fight re: Disney - but it seems that you do.

Do you really believe the NY POST vilified them just for headlines?

You might be right...I don't know.

But it's not my job to know...I have a life, n'est pas?

I apologize if my post somehow offended your sensibilities - it wasn't my intention.

On the other hand, when it comes to reporting on Pedo's - the usual rules of decorum simply *do not apply* as far as I am concerned. If that tars someone incorrectly to whom the evidence is clearly pointing - that's not my fault. It's the MSM and the authorities. It's their job to get this right - not mine.

Your mileage may vary, void where prohibited, etc.
