I cant believe you hate Trump more than you want American soldiers at home with their family.

What will they be doing at home with their families? Sucking on the Government teat? Does their pay stop if back in the USA?

So they're trained soldiers, best let them loose in other countries to countries to maintain their worth. Otherwise, just freeloaders?

If they're not killing people, what good are they?

Is that what you're suggesting? they NEED to stay there, to be justified?

and your ilk protested the vietnam war, and all..

@What have the Kurds done for America?

Basically every Kurd that stood on the battlefield against ISIS took a target off of a US military men/women and placed it on themself...
Inturn potentially saving a US military men/women life.

For being in a place that had no involvement with them back in their homes, no involvement to you, your kin or anyone you know.

Hmmm...

I totally understand your ongoing frustration with bad orangutan man, I was going to ask who it is that you intend on voting in as your dear leader next year, but that all seems a bit redundant now doesn't it?

Still, you should at least go and vote on Nov 8th next year, if for no other reason than to say you voted.

You just can't bring yourself to say that Trump screwed up. Can you?

So you deflect. Often.

Christ, even Graham said he screwed up.

Now, I know you're not that naive. I recall 3 years ago Trump saying he was going to pull the troops. Everyone has had 3 years grace to get their sh!t together so spare me your righteous indignation if you find my taking the piss out of you and your loincloth ripping offensive and deflective.

You make your bed, you lie in it.

You truly feel ISIS has never been a US threat for real regardless of what the Generals say?

a reply to: hyperlexic

Only because of US involvement in the ME, or so the left keep telling us.

Ah. Not Trump's fault. Pass the buck.
When convenient. Take credit for the good stuff, pass on the bad stuff.

Isn't the state department part of the administrative branch? Who runs that branch?
Who's the Commander in Chief? Who runs the Pentagon?

Handing over the reins is one thing. Abandonment is another. The Kurds aren't asking us for the reins.

I was referring to handing over the reins to the remaining coalition-of-the-willing countries to continue the work of protecting the Kurds.....not giving the Kurds the reins perse'.

I think its a valid option that is win-win. Kurds maintain their protective status and America gets to bring her troops home (just leave your weapons n stuff, we'll need them still)

These nations don't have weapons, logistics and training for their own weapons?

The training part is kinda serious too, I know I can't just operate advanced weaponry and equipment. Seems like a silly suggestion to me.

Also, what you're suggesting isn't too different from the support role America has offered. Troops would still be needed on the ground for the training. Logistical demands would mean more US troops within the region.

Unless you mean "no US boots on the ground" and if that's the case then it would be worth remembering that coalition activity in Syria was mostly an aerial campaign and logistical operations.

This isn't about ISIS.

This about the US standing aside for a Turkish operation against the Kurds that's been in the pipeline a long time.

It would also be a NATO member invading another nation not that these things matter.

It's all good though, I can't match Trump's infinite wisdom, his call with Erdogan was probably Trump telling him how it's gonna be and his Twitter meltdown yesterday was 129th dimensional chess mastery.

No at this point I think everyone is dirty except Trump. If he was they would have found something in that 3 year investigation . Jesus they raided his long time lawyers office and still didnt find anything.

I bet you couldnt come out that clean after that much investigating. He is cleaner than any of us.

Because even thou you won’t admit it you know
Do or don’t, it’s going to be wrong
so you choose to sit on the fence and make no commitment your commitment

If Hilary said what Trump said the tune would be a little more melodic

Orange man bad?
