Trump got elected and he's anything but ultraconservative. He banned bump stocks. Spends like a drunken sailor. Is pro gay marraige/LGBT. He's applying tariffs. I mean these are all the antithesis of conservatism. He didn't lie about his stance on these issues. He's simply a very middle of the road politician. He's not an ideologue.
