Prodigal Son - Great new show

If you haven't seen this yet, it's really good.

Guy is the son of a notorious serial killer. He became a profiler for the FBI, but has some mental issues.

He was fired from the FBI, but returned home where he's now a consultant for the local police.

Like in Silence of the Lambs though, he often has to consult with his dad (who is in prison), on the mindset of the killers.


You have to suspend the disbelief of his home town suddenly being beset by serial killers for him to solve each week....but other than that, it's a really good show, with some great actors you'll recognize, and just great storytelling.

I watched the first episode, and really liked it. But then I forgot when it was on.
I'll have to find this weeks episode and watch it.

Ewww nooo... the world does not need more glorification of madness.

though, damn it.. I'm definitely gonna watch.. aargh.. oh well, life happens..

And speaking of looking familiar - I just loved Dresden! Great avatar.
Wife has recorded first two episodes, I'll have to have a look.

It’s kind of like Silence of the Lambs meets Monk.
As it progresses things are not as they seem and even as the cases gets solved you realize certain players are hiding something from the past.

Good actors and so far a decent story.
