I don't think you finished reading the post. The US has a net negative effect on CO2 emissions due to the low CO2 emissions intensity. There is a reason why the media pushes the "per-capita" numbers instead of the intensity numbers. It is to funnel money into pet projects and bilk taxpayers out of their money.

why did the Australian government stop using Sydney Harbour's ocean level measurements from Fort Dennison....they had been recording daily reading since like the 1870's......it wasn't showing the rising that Tim Flannery the boob doctor was claiming.
Tim is / was an official spokesman for climate warming / change in Australia....on TV and radio and he is a boob doctor by training....

It's not just O2 that's a problem. There's an even worse menace lurking in our atmosphere, and nobody is doing anything about it!

• It's a worse greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, and can exist in higher amounts.
  
• It's directly responsible for almost 10 deaths every single day in the US alone, on average.
  
• It's been found in great quantities permeating every single case of coral reef bleaching on the plant.
  
• It's found on every continent and island on earth.
  
• Scientists agree that it is directly responsible for increased size and power of tropical storms and hurricanes.
  
• It has been found in large quantities in every stream and river across the globe.
  
• Water treatment plants have consistently refused to even attempt to filter it out.
  
• It is present in all exhaust from vehicles.
  
• It can be corrosive and has been referred to in scientific circles as "the Universal Solvent."

Of course, I am referring to Dihydrogen Monoxide. We must start doing everything in our power to eliminate this hazardous substance before it's too late! I estimate, based on models I have created, that we only have about 3 months before Diydrogen Monoxide concentrations pass the point of no return.

Climate change is not the problem. It is all the improper chemistry that is making it's way to the rivers and seas. It is the pesticides and herbicides sprayed by the thousands of tons every year.

They are not addressing this problem when they focus on carbon. The whole carbon thing is a scam for us to focus on and for them to get a big paycheck by taxing us. In order to prevent this we should probably start making everyone miserable, carbon tax the crap out of everything, and make sure there is ***NO*** O2 in the future. Its the only way to be sure.. and make the world a utopia for our ancestors.

I heard this mentioned on the news this week , That 50 % of all birds have vanished since 1970, in some areas it is as much as 85 % that have gone [ Germany ? ] truly frightening to think about that , and the even weirder thing is since i heard it no birds seem to be feeding or are around my house ! , Normally there are hundreds of them about

you rant with "if you dont believe in man made climate change then why try to do anything " followed by "so lets just do something bad because it dont matter"

in short an all or nothing drama queen based on emotion not fact.

no one is saying we should pollute, not have environmental laws , or that bad things dont exist (cancer was it) so we can do anything.

what we are saying is stop the emotional bull cookies and follow a LOGICAL FACT BASED course of action

first WHAT SPECIFICALLY IS THE PROBLEM

two ... IS IT MAN MADE OR NATURE.

three... If it is the result of man what EXACTLY can we do to prevent or at worst mitigate.
or if we even can.

four .... see if it was effective or not then REEVALUATE using FACTS to see if effective or not.

REPEAT AS NEEDED.

for example (using yours)
if a ship is dumping ballast ..

first it has ZERO to do with man made climate change.

second... is this SPECIFIC SHIP harming the environment..

third... if it is (using FACTS) then what law is in place to PUNISH THEM.

four... what (using facts) ACTION do we need to take to remedy the problem.

five... evaluate the effectiveness of the punishment (to stop others from doing it) and what effectiveness is the action taken to fix it...


review and see if anything has to be done to improve compliance and (if needed) cleanup..

thats just one issue.
