The Tories seem to be hiding Jacob Rees-Mogg away.

I mean where was he at there manifesto launch?

Must have been reading the Benno whilst Boris was dodging shaking hands with they two black fellows.

Jeremy Corbyn just got cricified in his televised interview.

Neil is a narcissistic bully, who loves the sound of his own voice. Someone i have not tuned into in the last 15 years.

Come back and tell me how Boris fairs. I would bet you would use the same comment. Unless Boris cries off with a migraine of course.

He is the best interviewer on telly but if you have not watched him for the last 15 years as you claim your opinion is pretty worthless.

Bet you watch him do Boris though.

Yuk, now that one really would be an assault on the old eyeballs.

Hopefully after the watershed at least. LoL

Most MPs are campaigning in their local constituencies. They'll be local refererences if you cared to look.

Regardless, Corbyn got spanked on live TV. Was listening to LBC after... he's being roasted.

As i said, come back and tell me how Boris fairs with Neil.

How Boris fairs has nothing to do with the humiliation of Corbyn yesterday.

I've just watched both the Sturgeon and Corbyn interviews on iPlayer.

I think Neil did his job and put both of them under a lot of pressure trying to get specific answers from specific questions, both failing miserably at times.
I hope - and have no reason to believe he won't - he's equally pressing and determined when he interviews the other leaders.

Sturgeon was probably the most assured of the two yet her performance was hardly inspiring.
My favourite moments - and there were a few - were when she completely failed to justify why IndyRef2 was necessary when criteria to justify one she herself set out in 2016 have clearly not been met and why she would refuse a second confirmatory referendum on any IndyRef2 whilst supporting one on Brexit.

Corbyn's interview was indeed a 'car crash'.
He seemed unsure and dithering and reliant on pre-prepared political soundbites and generalisations and completely lacking any details.
His lack of knowledge of current tax levels, revenues and who pays what was bordering on the embarrassing and his refusal to say that he would eliminate terrorist enemies of the UK should finally put paid to anyone's doubts about him being thoroughly unsuitable to be Prime Minister of this country.

I do wish The Labour Party would allow Diane Abbott to be put under such scrutiny.

I can't wait to watch him interrogate Jo Swinson and her belief in unicorns and even better Boris Johnson's bumbling oafishness and incoherence under Neil's microscope.

Swinson should have stuck with the legalization of Cannabis.

As to ditching the navy???

She must be stoned, considering we live on an island surrounded by ocean, the Navy might come in handy at some point.

Indeed it does have something to do with it.

Either Boris or Corbyn will be leading the country from 13th December 2019. The comparison can then be made which is the most incompetent of the two.

I think Swinson has been slightly over-using the product....she lives in a fantasy world.
She does have two good attributes though.....best I leave that one there.

In other news I see my hometown made front page 'news' in The Sun today.
Apparently it's one of three more or less neighbouring constituencies where '2,338 voters can save UK from Corbyn'.

Bearing in mind the extortionist approach taken by the DUP when propping up The Tories perhaps we can hold the country to ransom and demand at least SOME investment in the North East instead of being consigned to be the arse end of the UK?

I find it pretty #ing ironic that Westminster is relying on a part of the country that it has consistently ignored for literally centuries to 'save them' from pretty much anything.
If Corbyn wasn't such a twat and such a danger I'd vote for him just to #ing spite those wankers!

In the North East we probably have more in common with Scots than we do with people from many other parts of the UK.

As much as I dislike Westminster and the system it perpetuates I could never abandon England.
I guess I can't really explain why.

As I've said before, I'd like to see more devolved power to ALL the regions of the UK within some sort of Federal Union.
But it's not going to happen....at least not anytime soon.

I think we need a socialist republic with devolved federal powers to the regions
that would work I think , but it will take time to get there .

Fingers crossed mate eh!

I think they are both equally incompetent, just different flavours of incompetent.

Johnson is incompetent and a liar. Corbyn is incompetent and delusional. Take your pick.

Apparently the interview with Johnson hasn't been confirmed yet. After the Corbyn interview I think Johnson's diary might just have become completely full.

If they do broadcast an interview with Boris, will it be live or will they heavily edit it ?
