yeh everyone just seems really fed up with the status quo , but no one is capable of providing a solution to replace it , well we could but for some reason no one in government will .

Yes the UK cant be lead by one party alone , I dont know why that isnt obvious , that we need to work together , but of course we cant now because its so far gone its nigh impossible to get a working government purely dedicated to working for the UK.

labour are too far left and conservative have gone quite right , and leaves a huge vacuum of space where no one actually comes together in agreement over anything.

Then that feeds into the whole ideological divide then that feeds into the class system .

it's years of #e , stacked on #e,

we have officially ran out of ways to polish this turd

I am going to see "fat white family " tonight at the Queen margaret Union in the University of Glasgow.
So that will be fun , a break from the norm

have a few pints with mates from School and forget this miserable existence

Queen Margaret Union, i loved that place.

Especially freshers week where the drink was cheap as chips.

The only thing were those silly plastic pint tumblers, hate those.

Strathclyde Union was a belter also, The Barony Bar being my particular favorite.

Have a great evening.

Bollocks to that.....ranging between £1.70 and £2.40 for a decent pint here.

The establishments that are open late charge round about £5 a pint in places.....fortunately I know a lot of the owners and I know a few places where I can still get a good old fashioned stoppy back - a lock in for everyone not from where I live.

I just stick to the local pubs these days mate.

Prices are still atrocious all the same.

But better than £6 a pop.

Maybe ....just maybe that has something to do with the last ten years of austerity?

No it was to do with the £850 Billion that the Labour Government had to bail out The Banks. Maybe they should have just let The Banks fail, and we could all then suffer the consequences.

Government support for Britain's banks has reached a staggering £850bn and the eventual cost to taxpayers will not be known for years, the public spending watchdog says today

You and i have had this discussion previously. It seems like it hasn't registered with you.

Kids today make me laugh....all think they are big 'sessioners'.
Every time I've ended anywhere with them I've ended up completely wankering them....and I'm well past it at 54!

I blame the demise of the good old fashioned traditional local boozer for many of society's failings.

As for music; seen literally hundreds of bands over the years, some of the biggest names ever some incredibly obscure.
I have an eclectic music taste ranging from Northern Soul, Indie, Trance, Ska, etc, even been known to get down to a bit of funk on the odd occasion but I'll always be a punk at heart.

I can imagine how Labour came up with much of this manifesto......

Corbyn and Abbott sat in Labour HQ, Corbyn saying something along the line of "look Diane, you keep messing up the maths. How about i tell them everything is free?"

Lol!!
Nice one........

Its a bit patronising trying to bribe us with free broadband, while the over

80's? are loosing their free TV licences.

But I am tempted by Nigel's updating the voting system (proportional

representation?)

and getting rid of the 'old' leeches in the House of Lords!

I've read that we own , 65% of shares in the banks we bailed out , but this has since fallen to like 42% , the government are reluctant to cash in shares whilst brexit is on and the strength of the Pound is low.

this is what I want to know , do the banks owe us interest on what they borrowed ?

Used to be mate....pubs are empty.
Relatively cheap but no-one has any money.....and those who have don't really want to be seen spending it.

There's a surprising number of more expensive type bars, full of pretentious wankers, hipsters, snowflakes etc paying ridiculous amounts for 'craft' beers and other #e.

Me, I'm more your traditional spit n sawdust boozer type.....a dinosaur in more ways than one I suppose.

Maybe I'm laying it on a bit thick - just for a change - you can still have a cracking night out if in the right company etc.
There's an increasing number of knobheads around, but that seems to the case everywhere I go, its about recognising them and giving them a swerve.
