I found the normally sombre EU MEP's hand shaking back slapping and milling

around Boris Johnson quite unnerving so much emotion???? WHAT IS IN IT FOR THEM ?

They have obviously got the better end of the deal.

They were utterly sh*tting themselves over no deal. What you saw was relief.
No deal is a complete disaster for them and not nearly as bad for us in the UK.

As for the deal, they'll also be delighted with the 'level playing field' clauses. They know they can't compete with the UK in inetrnational markets. Firstly because of our reach across the globe (built up through history) and also because the EU is an oil tanker when it comes to trade ... 28 countries procrastinating and tweaking until no one really gets what they want.

unrelated, well totally related

Since we "the UK taxpayer" bailed out the banks to prevent further economic crash

well since we gave money to the banks, shouldn't that be considered a loan, and now that austerity is over
shouldn't the banks pay us back what they owe plus interest ?

Or have we basically just given the banks free money at our expense

How come they can loan us money and charge us to hell when we are late with payment
yet we can bail them out to the tune of billions and they dont pay it back ?

Bercow is supposed to be unbiased but once again he shows that he is completely biased and is determined to abuse his office in the most blatant way.
The man's a maggot.
This Westminster bubble farce must end.
We need a GE so that these muppetts get taught who elects them once and for all.
2nd referendum? Yeah and if its a close vote that goes against them we will have another 3 years of bollox and then remainers will want another one.
Until they get their way.
This is now beyond a disgrace.

Harsh, but fair!

A GE would see a lot of them fired. Wonder why they don't want to have one?

Now, after Bercow refused to allow a vote on the deal, the traitors are saying they have to take their time to get legislation though... the same poeple who rushed through the Benn Act in 4 days.
Unbelievable traitourous behaviour in Parliament. Full on and out in the open.

I really do not know how Bercow is getting away with this. It's just so blatant.
He is supposed to be unbiased yet the little weasel had the gall to have a "Bollox to Brexit" sticker on his car.
Words fail me.
So much for democracy.
We really need a "None of the above" voting option.
As i have said before - "don't vote or the Govt will get in".
Sick of the Westminster Bubble.

Once again, Scotland the sole voice of reason in this sorry mess and excuse for a democracy.

Letter to the European Union

A tratorous letter that lies about 'our joint view' being we need a 2nd referendum is now the voice of reason?

Both of our Governments and legislatures are in favour of such a referendum and of the UK remaining in the EU.

LOL

She forgot to mention that Scotland and Wales don't speak for the UK in these negotiations.

The disgusting (in all ways) Sturgeon should get back in her box and stop trying to undo the democratically mandated decision to leave the EU.

Traitorous?.
Scotland voted overwhelmingly to stay in the Eu, Our politicians are doing what's best for Scotland and it's people and that means staying in the EU.

This is not English Vote for English laws. Scotland will have it say. Scotlands Courts already had their say. Suck it up.

You lost. Get over it.

The UK voted to leave the EU.
Scotland is part of the UK.
Scotland voted to STAY in the UK.

2 referendums.
You lost when Scotland decided to stay in the UK.
You lost when the UK decided to leave Europe.

Yet here you are in a deluded state claiming vistory LOL

You lost on both counts - obviously you find it very difficult to get over it - but you really will have to suck it up, sport.

Then Scotland needs to be independent before it dictates to the UK.
Last time I looked, you lost that vote.
So, you lost.
You get over it.

Yep - Scottish people want to be part of the UK.
It's only those sour Scots who have a massive inferiority complex that seem to think they are important, when really they are just a colony.

Scottish Courts?
So you want independence. So do I.
Which means your Courts can go whistle.
