Its called the popular vote for a reason. Its just there to see who's more popular. The popular vote does not decree who will be president. And also your numbers are wrong, there were more people for Trump, only because they were against the other guys, and that one Clinton.

The only thing the poplar vote can do is influence the electoral vote, because? Well they eventually get replaced in there cushy offices and positions by somebody else who is more inclined to peoples wishes, if people cared that is, most of them don't. But mostly its dictated by business interests and there lackeys.

The only reason Trump won, was just because his competition sucked donkey balls.

Yes they were that bad. That they made Trump look like a genius in comparison.

I don't think much of the world likes Trump or what he's doing. That includes most of the US.

As I said in another thread..

Has nothing to do with Trump..!!

It has everything to do with the fact that the US has a POTUS that isn't a Democrat (or a socialist, progressive Democrat to boot).

If the POTUS were someone else, yet still a conservative Right or center Right, these Impeachment shenanigans, the horrific name calling, the bitterness and utter hatred would still be going on relentlessly.

I can already predict that the next conservative POTUS will be put through everything that Trump is going through right now. The left doesn't hate Orange Man. They hate not being the ones in charge..!!

I think maybe some people voted for Clinton (or Johnson, even) because they didn't like Trump. Don't you?

Hey its that phage guy. You know everytime I see you on this site, I think of dolphins. That was a ridiculous funny thread.

Anyways. Yes you are correct, there were people who voted for clinton, simply because they did not like Trump. As you know I don't bother much with politics. But I would say, that both online, and in the real world, most people I know, and seen, voted for Trump. On the MSN, that was different however.

Discrepancy's as they say. And yet. The results are what you all talk and argue about today.

Everybody seems to vote with there emoticons, if ya know what I mean phage guy.

You might try to widen your horizons. Because, actually, most didn't.

You aren't alone in your reality. Don't even let people fool you.

Only place I see this hate for Trump is the media and random posters.

Maybe we aren't hanging around the right crowds.

The turnouts at the rallies tell the truth I'd think but hey these people will see what they want to see.

Maybe all those supporters he has are actual undercover haters to make up for the massive numbers and "the world" claims some people like to pull from their rears.

a trump supporter wont admit the following...

the majority of americans dont like trump.

the majority of americans didnt vote for trump.

the majority of americans wont vote for trump in the next election.

the silent majority is a myth. they are the minority.

I’m not so sure about your first claim, though you could be right. The polls seem to show he’s liked at least as much as Obama was at the same point in his tenure.

You could be right re: your second claim, but all we know for sure is the majority of voters didn’t vote for Trump. Lots of Americans who could have voted did not.

You could be right re: your third claim (no one knows, of course), but I’m cautiously optimistic you’ll be wrong. The economy is doing great right now, and a recession — despite the Left’s fervent desire for one — seems far from certain at this time. If a recession does occur before the election I’ll be very nervous indeed.

As for your fourth claim, Dem politicians are so openly leftist now that I believe most Americans — at least eligible voters — find it hard to support them on many issues. A substantial number of traditionally Democratic blacks and Hispanics appear disenchanted and willing to give Trump a chance. After all, what have Dem policies done to lift them from the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder? Nothing.

I think many voters who disliked Trump or didn’t vote in 2016 have changed their minds about him or the Dems. The man has many flaws and I disagree with him on many issues, but by God he’s a breath of fresh air. Aside from his mystifying support for H-1B workers and their spouses and increased legal immigration, he’s really trying to help American workers through much better trade deals and tariffs that are driving U.S. companies out of China and sometimes to the USA. Employment levels for blacks, Hispanics and women are outstanding. I believe Trump’s efforts to stem illegal immigration — opposed every step of the way by Dems — are viewed positively by most Americans, who believe our laws should be respected.

You dont have to like him to vote for him. Hes still the best option that we are being given. Lol All local newspaper polls I have seen are still giving him 56% or more support rate. His supporters are more conservative and dont feel the need to blast what they feel and shove it down the throats of others. They watch. They listen. They vote. Instead of go wishy washy bonkers over everything like huge vaginas.

I’m richer.
I’m safer here on a border state.
I’m hiring more people at my company.
I’m paying my people more.
I’m carrying much less debt.

More voters voted for Trump. That’s a fact. Saying more Americans like/don’t like Trump is not the same thing. That’s actually an unknown. Polls are small sampling.

The fact more voters voted for Clinton than Trump tells me more about voters than it does about the candidates.

It’s an emotional position versus a rational position. If you’re a voter and you have experienced lower taxes; work for a company who benefitted from lower corporate taxes; are working now and/or able to get a better job at a new employer; a small business owner; work for military; or an any way better off today than pre-2016 and you vote against Trump, it’s emotional. You’re absolutely entitled to vote however you want for any reason; just know it’s emotional and not rational. Bless their hearts.

Every website I visit has moved to the right.

It the actions and ideas of the left that leave a majority of the country in shock and disbelief.

But like I said, they know how to organize and many large groups are 100% liberal Democrat no matter what.

Groups like antifa, BLM, LGBTQ, illegal aliens, muslims, hollyweird, the media, silicon valley and the teachers union make a good dent.

Imagine aligning yourself with those winners.

I think most would run away.

FALSE. Did Hillary win the popular vote? Yes. Electoral vote? No, checks and balances work.
Did every man woman and child vote? Hell no. You have no stats to prove your point, if you are citing the popular vote, try harder.

Dems can't handle the truth. They lost the election. REEEE! Trump has been loved by America for decades, he's been a pop star along with a businessmen and everyone use daily to chuckle at his antics.
The dems will lose this coming election after deafening their audience with their shrill cries of nothing burgers.

38.6% of Americans didn’t vote at all.

38.6% are politically apathetic at best.

38.6% or more probably won’t vote in the next election.

Trump will still probably be re-elected due to that 38.6%, but may be by a wider margin due to the impeachment fiasco imploding the Democrats.

No they won't admit any of it. They won't call Trump out on any of his bs he spews. Just deflect and repeat the same talking they got from Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.

As an outsider looking in I think Trump will win the next election by a landslide.
Your situation is a little like ours with a Conservative party in power and no viable opposition. And like ours your opposition appear to spend all their time and energy demonizing the party leader in power rather than concentrating on what they were elected to do. Our MSM seems to be following the same agenda too.
