Didn't 'realize so many. Most are democracies.

Is that all;

According to WP, 72 times during the Cold War alone.

www.washingtonpost.com...

Most U.S. “secret wars” were against other democratic states.

Where next? Nowadays it looks like overthrowing entire regions (like was done before its founding) so maybe an entire continent next. Africa?

Most were not democracies. The Cold War was an interesting time for the world. The Soviet Union attempted to destabilise and take over more than this as the rest of West was in their sights, not just the countries on the margins and "un-aligned".

It is because its US turn to be overthrown through Democracy. The current scapegoat is China right now. China already changed and will continue to slowly change. No overthrowing needed. Slow and steady will win the race.

Seems a bit off to me so I picked one that caught my eye.

Portugal 1974-76 *

That would be the Carnation Revolution.

Date 25 April 1974; 45 years ago
Location Portugal
Caused by

Repression of civil liberties, political freedom, and freedom of speech
Increase in anti-colonialism, military expenditure, and international isolation

Methods Coup d'état, nonviolent revolution
Resulted in Beginning of the Portuguese transition to democracy; end of the Portuguese Colonial War and independence of Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé e Príncipe; and the Indonesian invasion of East Timor.

If the others claimed in that list are anything like that claim, perhaps some history books are in order.

I see the site is there to promote the sale of William Blum's anti-American books. No bias in this I guess.
