Pelosi and Biden really need to use their polygrip before they speak. It's so distracting to watch them while their teeth are falling out of their mouths.

I rolled when JOe Degenova just commented that Pelosi couldn't keep her dentures in her mouth. LOL

If it passes muster.

They can and should if the issues are impeachable, but it's not a small process and impeachment is not removal.

Adam Schiff started this after a closed door meeting with Atkinson, Schiff immediately ran to the press outside....what a great Intel Chair! actually read part of the communication as why the complaint was not required to be sent committee.

What a joke this is....

She just killed the DNC.

She rolled the dice and I don’t think she has the backing of the People that she thinks she has. The People will not accept a half baked scheme of impeachment as a CYA.

Congrats.

The calculation isn't as dire as you would suggest; the people may not support impeachment, but they really don't emotionaly care either way.

For Pelosi this weeks controversy is about saving face over the ridicule she and her party got last week over the judiciary committee trying, and failing, to go it alone on their "impeachment inquiry". After seeing what a failure that strategy was they found a reason to involve the whole house and gave orders to reluctant party members to support them.

They will drag this new "inquiry" out as long as they can; never actually moving to impeach.

You know, Trump is the backlash against 8 years of Obama.
What do you think is going to happen if the Dem's continue to screw the American people over and over again with this B.S?

Maybe ...

A lot of people are gonna show up in DC ... with a lot of firepower? A lot of Congress' armed security are gonna create a flashpoint? A few seconds later and we're all gonna have your answer on the tips of our tongues. And then more people with more firepower are gonna roll? And, the Commander in Chief is gonna watch the show wearing his MAGA hat?

And that must also be considered. That she wants it to fail, but make Trump the focus of the election rather than the do nothing House and the not even present Dems in the Senate. Making Trump the talk, prevents actually standing on their own merit. Not that their merits are remarkable against the growing march to socialism.

It's nothing more than timing to the run up of the election. They (the bat shlt crazy left) actually think it will somehow detract from Trump getting re-elected. All the bat shlt crazy left is doing is GALVANIZING those opposed to the left ENSURING Trump gets re-elected.

Which brings me to this question. Is this the actual intent? Or are the bat shlt crazy left really this stupid?

They certainly have seemed to be HELL BENT on losing as much support as possible over the last three years

But you still can't impeach without a valid reason.

Says who?

Congress can impeach whoever they want for whatever reason they want. It's entirely about whether or not they have the political will to do so and, right now, Democrats have a majority in the House and a majority of those Democrats are in support of, at least, an impeachment inquiry.

So what's it going to be? Democrats hate Trump but not enough to impeach him?

Maybe some democrats will, when they lose it over
the 2020 election. That is where the backlash
will occur, the reelection of Trump. There is
already a long list of crazy Trump haters who
have been investigated by the Secret Service.

And a bunch of losers at the FBI who were
fired and are now T.V wannabes.

But one thing is certain, I think President
Trump has been going easy on Pelosi, that
is over. He is going to put a bite on her
she will never forget.

She has made a colossal blunder here,
casting her lot with terrorist loving
socialists. Her and Biden are finished.

To the people who keep wanting to see President Trumps' tax returns... Don't you think that if there was the least bit of impropriety, the IRS would be on him like white on rice?? Do you even pay US taxes?? I have filed my taxes for over 50 years and I have made a few mistakes. Yessir, mistakes were made and NightFlight paid... usually Dearly.

Now, to the idiots that call him "old bone spurs". Maybe he did and maybe he didn't have bone spurs or any other medical reason to stay out of the military during the time in the US' history of the good ole draft.

But guess what?? He's in the military now, Hell, he's Goddamn Commander-in-Chief of the whole thing !! Put that in your pipe and smoke it...

As an anonymous person once said on ATS: You people are stupid...

No party that has ever filed for impeachment has won the following election.

That's going to be their excuse.

The reason Pelosi wants to kickstart this is to give a reason why they lose in 2020.

It won't be because they are left of Stalin and have doorknob humping retards for candidates, it now can be because they tried to impeach Trump.

Nancy, the old booze-hag, just created an "out" for the democrats in 2020.

Brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant.

do you honestly think 20 republican senators will go along with this? thats the number +all the independents that you need to side with the dems to actually convict/remove him via impeachment and i dont see that happening at all

house may start impeachment but senate tries it and they wont impeach him and this will be a repeat of what happened when the republicans tried to impeach Clinton for lying about a blow job.

dems dont have the votes they have never even gotten the votes in the house let alone the senate to do this so its a disastrous ploy by the dem's that will kill them in 2020

and even baring the 1%odds of trump being impeached and actually convicted he will walk with a pardon just like nixon. and then you get president mike " convert the gays to straight and i hate abortion" Pence who is a much more mainstream Evangelical republican politician. lol you think trumps potential picks for scotus were scary? the judges he has been appointing bad for the democrats? just wait and see at the ones pence wants on the bench of the various federal courts

www.cnbc.com...

They gave the House “the sole power of impeachment;” the Senate, “the sole power to try all impeachments;” and the chief justice of the Supreme Court the duty of presiding over impeachment trials in the Senate. The president, under the Constitution, can be removed from office for “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” What exactly that means is unclear. Historically, it can encompass corruption and other abuses, including trying to obstruct judicial proceedings. No president has ever been removed as a direct result of impeachment. One, President Richard Nixon, resigned before he could be removed. Two, presidents Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, were impeached by the House, but not convicted by the Senate.
and

Party breakdown in Congress? The House has 235 Democrats, 199 Republicans, and one independent. As a result, the Democrats could impeach Trump with no Republican support. In 1998, when Republicans had a House majority, the chamber voted largely along party lines to impeach Clinton, a Democrat. The Senate now has 53 Republicans, 45 Democrats and two independents who usually vote with the Democrats. Conviction and removal of a president would require 67 votes. So, for Trump to be removed from office via impeachment, at least 20 Republicans and all the Democrats and independents would have to vote against him.
so dont see that happening as much as the dems want to as they are seemingly saying by this latest impeachment attempt to admit to the American people that none of the bevvy of democratic candidates for president can beat trump in 2020,so if you wanted republicans and some on the fence independents energized before the election in a bit over a year congratulations this just did it

www.nytimes.com... here is how the various dems and republicans in the house stand on the matter dems being for it and most republicans either not decided(128) or (73) against it and that is just in the house

how does the current senate feel? www.politico.com...

McSally (R-Ariz.) is predicting political doom for Democrats, deeming it a “kamikaze mission” that will help Republicans across the board. Gardner is keeping his opinion as close to the vest as possible. “Literally they are on a path to re-elect the president, keep the Senate majority [Republican] and possibly flip the House. It’s a total distraction,” McSally said in an interview of the House Democrats' path. “For the people I represent, this is not what they’re talking about.” Gardner said Trump's conversations with the president of Ukraine about Joe Biden and his family as well as a whistleblower complaint about the president's conversations with a world leader are a “serious issue.” Asked if he still supported Trump’s reelection, Gardner replied: “Let’s find out what’s happening. Let’s get to the bottom of this.” “I’m not going to get in front of the facts that I simply don’t have right now,” he added. If House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry turns into an attempt to remove the president from office, Gardner and McSally will be two of the most closely watched votes. And for now no one on the Senate Republican side is even endorsing an inquiry, much less suggesting they might vote to convict the president. Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr of North Carolina spoke to the 53-member caucus on Tuesday afternoon at lunch, senators said. He “suggested we get the facts before people start jumping to conclusions,” recalled Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas). Shortly after Republicans were in harmony, saying they need more information about the Trump call with the Ukrainian president and the whistleblower to say whether it’s troubling that Trump reportedly pressured President Volodymyr Zelensky to dig into Biden and his son, Hunter, in order to receive U.S. aid. Hunter Biden served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
so while they are playing their cards closer to the vest the article then goes on to talk about how all of the senators need to remember how their base in their states will react to this if they wanna keep their seats

PurpleFox agreeing to bet he challenged me on

If the WH relents and retracts it executive privilege claim or if they refuse and the courts rule against them for release, you delete your account. Agreed?

If Trump doesn't tuck his tail between his legs and hand it over and/or the courts tell him it's OK to claim this as executive Privilege I will delete my account?

AGREED???

And you said it was a deal.

The White House is preparing to release to Congress by the end of the week both the whistleblower complaint and the Inspector General report that are at the center of House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, according to a senior administration official, reversing its position after withholding the documents from lawmakers.
www.politico.com...

Tail tucked between legs, but too late.

The moment he admitted asking the Ukraine President for help in his election, his legitimacy as POTUS ended.
