If thats the case so be it.

Thing is climate change and the associated problems with such are indeed a fact.

Soros is obviously an NWO nasty bastard.

But that does not mean what Greta and the scientific world says is not true.

They're not pushing the crap it happening.

Soros is pushing agenda, we need to see past that, do we not?

The climate changes, yes. But how much of it is cause by man? Where in all the models and simulations are the facts? Because that's where all of this comes from. Models and simulations.

And this was just submitted to the UN. Hmmmmmm. The scientific world can't seem to agree on it.

Ask yourself this. If we're in such dire straights, why is the answer in the form of a tax? With the combined fortunes of all western governments, they don't need a new tax to take care of the problem, do they.

Great post as always, DB.

What makes it a great post wardaddy? She got her stars and flags? Posting # without links?

I mean, if our moon lady was here she would demand links to every claim made... yet she makes claims with never a link.

Is it great because people discuss? or great because for the most part you trump followers love anti dem threads?

so wardaddy, why is it a great post in your opinion?

Because it is succinct.

Have you never starred or flagged a post bashing the right?

Brave? Her parents are a failed actor and opera singer. Her mother recently wrote a book on climate change. And there's a women with a connection to George Soros tagging along with Greta almost everywhere she goes it seems like. They're all using the poor girl to push this crap.

donald trumps children follow him around. He was a failed casino operator and a fraud as well... what in your eyes makes her parents less insignificant than yours?

what did your parents do? does that make your opinion here more or less significant?

My father spied on Russia... if you cant beat that your opinion does not matter

They need money, the mother wrote a Climate Change book, because its the big ticket topic right now, and now their daughter is gallivanting around the world spouting climate alarmism. I think the motive speaks for itself.

ETA: And without evidence of your dad spying on Russia, you're full of it.

They need to address the changes that are in the post.

The tax, i don't necessarily agree with.

We are contributing to the cycle of our Earth changing, to the pace of such at least.

And if we are not ready, we may well adapt and overcome, but we won't have the same technological base nor capabilities we have just now.

I don't fancy a new dark age for a significant proportion of the populations of our planet.

You know who else is spreading climate alarmism, David Attenborough should we ignore him too?

We have such a limited understanding of this very old planet. Can you say for certain that this isn't some cycle we've no knowledge of?

No Wardaddy454, not for certain.

But what is these days?

Its all twisted and turned around to suit the purpose of the privileged few.

Same as history really.

It's like the way we seldom ever seem to agree.

I postulate if we were ever to sit done in a pub and have a few drinks our ideologies would not really be that different, just the way we wish our common goals to be achieved.

I think ATS should start doing video chat/threads of sorts.

So much seems to be lost in translation sometimes, and we speak the same fecking language.

Possibly, I doubt it though, he's not funded by oil companies as a spin doctor, he's concerned and when someone like him sounds the alarm it's not wise to ignore it.

You might be wrong.

I don't spend my time worrying about how much money "the privileged few" has, compared to me. But I'm glad we got to the root of it, going from climate change to "the privileged few".

The solutions we are given to the changing climate just seem to put more money in the pockets of politicians. And I'm certain, for a few kickbacks, companies could get a cap and trade waiver.

Why? Because he makes documentaries, has a voice that people love (much like Morgan freeman) and shares the same views as many atheists?

I might not be wrong all the same.

The solution is to address the problems in a meaningful manner if thats at all possible.

End of the day, chances are, someone is going to have to pay the piper.

It should not be a significant proportion of the human race, not if we can help it anyway.

Then again for all we know our ancient ancestors failed to address the problem also hence the gaps in our understanding of our origins.

No because he has a wealth of knowledge gained through experience.

Does he? Because I can't find anything but honorary degrees. I find numerous awards for being a BBC presenter and running the BBC for a time. He has a team that helps develop these documentaries at the BBC natural history unit, so is it really him and his knowledge and experience?

OK. Then why didn't little Greta name China, the absolute largest polluter in the world, at all? I mean, if we're gonna address the problem, I would think they are a good starting point.

Goebbels was extreme right wing, a Nazi, he wanted to exterminate people and spoke out about it, publicly.

Isn't that what the Left is doing now with their disposable but useful idiots in antifa? The left is the new nazi party.

ANTIFA have caused civil disobedience, vandalized property and acted violently, but they have never called for the extermination of anyone. Nor have they tried to enact that.

Even in the Charlottesville "unite the Right" rallies, it was an alt-right member who drove his car into a crowd, killing a woman.

‘Antifa’ Flyers Call For the Murder of White Children? - Snopes.

It is clear that the alt-right are not above a little deceit, as well as murder.

It would be prudent to not ally yourself with anyone who supports either ANTIFA or the alt-right. They are criminal.

That's not what I asked. When Greta Thunberg and 15 other young activists filed a complaint at the UN against 5 countries not doing enough to ward of global warming (funny that that term is back), why is China not one of those 5?

Ok, you tell me.

Why is China not one of those 5?

Its should be, the second-largest, most powerful, nation on Earth, cannot be considered to be ""developing"" forever after all.

Does that mean what she said does not make a modicum of common sense?
