Don't Forrest fires actually help with proper Forrest management and growth?

Um, no.

I will call cowards, cowards because that's what I see.

Thanks though for trying to tell me what I can and cannot say though.

Cowardly words, I've nearly been stabbed twice defending my neighbors, and got injured in the process, I've stopped robbers and carjackings who nearly stabbed me- don't bring a knife to a cake fight.

This makes me wonder which liberal sh*thole you live in. Since it's knives not guns it must be a european liberal sh*thole.

Natural wildfires, yes.

Land cleared via fires for farming and ranching at the scale the Amazon is being deforested? No.

One involves a natural cycle, eliminating invasive species and dead brush and making space for new growth.

The other specifically eliminates all growth and replaced with intended commercial crops for cattle feed or produce.

Let me know if that confuses you.

I have more than a few friends and family members that have bought into the alarmist viewpoint. They get online and make comments, they march and chant slogans, then they drive or take the bus home. They then go smoke a bong, watch video games, or watch a movie, make a frozen veggie burger and go to bed or go out for a coffee with their leftist friends and plot their next street circus. I don't know what all of them do but I know what I see.

Today I planted 100 trees. Fast growing medicinal trees called Vitex. I redirected the water flow coming on my property into a pond I dug for fish and frogs to grow in. This was before noon when it will be too warm for that kind of work. When I am done cooling off and taking on some food I will go to the shed and plant some starter pots. This evening I will work on one of my books and record a podcast. When I am done for the day I will not have the energy to do much more than sleep.

My point is we all choose what we will do with our lives and no central planning is required for me to impact the world. I would suggest making a frowny face at the president or getting on a jet and flying to NY on wealthy people's money will not have near the impact of real action on our environment. Action is work. There are people who talk and there are people who take action. They are seldom the same people.

Sure does sound like you’re a lot tougher than me!

Golly!

My grandfather is nearly 90, he had balls, back in his day actions speak louder than words, given there was no internet.

You have you right to say what the hell you want, but when you use the word cowardice from your own lazyboy, you have to ask yourself 'why am I being such a dumbass?'

Your views are your views, I respect that, however calling some folk cowardly without merit is not on.

Hitler was Austrian, everyone with half a brain cell knows that, did you?

I can't help who you might associate with, but that seems uncharacteristic of people I know who are concerned with Climate change. It seems a bit small-world to assume that all people are like the people you know, but I have no intention of attempting to convince you otherwise.

Today I planted 100 trees. Fast growing medicinal trees called Vitex. I redirected the water flow coming on my property into a pond I dug for fish and frogs to grow in. Good for you. You should be proud. Vitex should provide a reasonable profit crop while it is popular in nutritional circles.

My point is we all choose what we will do with our lives and no central planning is required for me to impact the world.

Environmental laws and policy might not be required for you to "impact the world", but now we are talking about scale. We all impact the world in ways big or small. It is pettiness to begrudge people who aim to or succeed in making a larger impact than yourself.

I would suggest making a frowny face at the president or or getting on a jet and flying to NY on wealthy people's money
will not have near the impact of real action on our environment.

I would suggest you read up a little if that is what you would suggest. This girl has done more than make a frowny face and did not arrive "on a jet and flying to NY on wealthy people's money"

She spent 15 days sailing to NY on a carbon free sailboat

Your assumption that people can not be activists and take personal action simultaneously does not seem credible to me.

Most people I know, regrading a great many issues, walk the walk as well as talk the talk, but I do take care in choosing my friends, something my parents taught at a young age.

I come from a country ruled by the right, that is all I have to say...

Oops I'm gonna go on a rant again, my nation is runned by the right, do I care? No, I do care but no one listened, the two party preferred system doesn't work anymore.

I voted for kodos, that is all.

The left are the worst of cowards.

No - not even close

You're still here whining about this and that. Like what you say is brave

Not anywhere near as brave as that little girl who called it how it is, that's a given.

Brave enough to start a thread alluding to the Greta being connected to "cowardice of the left" all the same.

You have to give him some kudos for that kind of sheer lunacy.

As negative as those kudos may be.

Computer says, leave wee girls with Asbergers alone to say what they feel would be my take on the matter.

No like shes not saying anything not pertinent to our continued future existence as a race.

Well, I'll tell you what - it doesn't feel like bravery when he uses children (ironically) to shield himself from having a real discussion

Brave? Her parents are a failed actor and opera singer. Her mother recently wrote a book on climate change. And there's a women with a connection to George Soros tagging along with Greta almost everywhere she goes it seems like.

They're all using the poor girl to push this crap.

What makes it a great post wardaddy? She got her stars and flags? Posting # without links?

I mean, if our moon lady was here she would demand links to every claim made... yet she makes claims with never a link.

Is it great because people discuss? or great because for the most part you trump followers love anti dem threads?

so wardaddy, why is it a great post in your opinion?

If thats the case so be it.

Thing is climate change and the associated problems with such are indeed a fact.

Soros is obviously an NWO nasty bastard.

But that does not mean what Greta and the scientific world says is not true.

They're not pushing the crap its happening.

Soros is pushing agenda, we need to see past that, do we not?

I think we all ken, after being here for any length of time, it's not about the stars and flags for most of us, it's about saying what we feel.

That's what's great about ATS, posts aside, great or poor. x

I had a pet dingo as a kid, do I blame the dingo for tearing the head off a German Shepherd? No. Do I blame Buster for his natural instinct? No. But I disagreed with his views on anti-dog policy.

Dingoes are like undecided voters, they dont care. What they care about is where their next meal is coming from, as long as they get it.

donald trumps children follow him around. He was a failed casino operator and a fraud as well... what in your eyes makes her parents less insignificant than yours?

what did your parents do? does that make your opinion here more or less significant?

My father spied on Russia... if you cant beat that your opinion does not matter
