Frackem we were itchen for a war that is why ww2 happened. We could of protected ourselves without getting into a foreign war that did not involve us. Since then we have been the war mongers justifying war for protection by the policeman of the world. which has become protection from the policeman of the world. I will be so happy when the new Rome is taken out just like the old Roman desire for global dominance. All the young men and woman who have been killed in police actions through out the world.

Actually, after WWI we went full isolationist. WWII was in full swing for over two years before America entered it, and until Pearl Harbor and Hitler going full retard we didn't even know what side we wanted to take. Hilter already steamed rolled across the EU with only Russia left basically and Japan made mincemeat of Asia long before the US entered the game.

They were winning we helped them to win through sales of rubber and gamification of coal. Then we cut off their supplies what did you expect. Now in SA we are threatening war over something we dont need from them and that is oil. No wonder the world hates us through our stick and carrot of financial aid to do our will in their countries. I am looking forward to all the doom porn in all the prophecies of taking out of the USA. Karma is a bitch and she is looking straight at the USA.

Battle of Britain was in 1940 by the way.

Reeling under combined assault from German land and air forces, in late May and early June 1940 the British Army evacuated France. As many as 338,000 British and allied troops got off the beach at Dunkirk, but they left behind 2,300 artillery pieces, 500 anti-tank guns, 600 tanks and 64,000 other vehicles — around half of the British Army’s entire inventory of heavy weaponry.

Nor, of course, was the army ready to resist a German landing in the half-year after Dunkirk. “Unfortunately, the British Army in September 1940 was little more than a ‘cardboard force’ that was not capable of sustained ground combat against a veteran and well-trained opponent.”

Lacking in heavy weaponry and motor transport, the British Army was also stuck with an outdated operational concept that was like something straight out of World War I. It still practiced trench warfare.

Worse, the doomed intervention in France had gotten so many junior officers killed that, in late 1940, many small units lacked appropriate leaders. As a consequence, they weren’t likely to improvise new tactics as the Germans stormed the beaches.

Can't say England was winning at anything. The one thing that Hitler did wrong was to focus on Russia in 1940 and that gave the brits time for America to join them in 1941.

And Britain was never under threat of invasion again after 1940. Hitler made sure of that by invading The Soviet Union. That was the beginning of the end for The Nazi's.

In fact Rudolph Hess, Hitlers number 2 parachuted into Britain in May 1941 to try and make peace. We told him to piss off and locked him up.

@Is Iran the next Vietnam

I don't think so.

Did Vietnam have sleepers

Have the ramifications been considered if IRAN does...

The CIA has concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul last month, contradicting the Saudi government’s claims that he was not involved in the killing, according to people familiar with the matter.

There were no reports of the joint drill plan in Chinese state media. Analysts said the exercise plausibly would let China show support for Iran. “The timing of the joint exercise might be a bit sensitive and some might take it as a show of China’s support for Iran should there be any military conflicts between countries,” Beijing-based naval expert Li Jie said.

The military drills take place annually but Russia has upped the ante this year by inviting forces from China, India and Pakistan (as well as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) to take part in the drills.

Saudi Arabia will just continue it's strategy of buying and importing mercenaries from around the world as far as boots on the ground in Iran. I believe as far as the USA goes, our only option for troops should be the island we should take once all this goes into motion.

Let the Arabs waste their blood and money trying to land troops on the mainland. My primary concern is what will turkey do in this conflict?? They enjoy a cordial relationship with Iran and Qatar. Turkey is also achieving better results in Libya than SA in Yemen.

I truly question Saudi capabilities to fight Iran. But Iran could not handle a sustainable prolonged aerial seige by USA, UK, France, KSA, UAE, and Israel.

I Guess my Sarcasm Eluded you there . The Point being , " Theorizing " yet Another Middle Eastern War between the U.S. and Iran is not a Good Idea Right Now . It's just seems to Manipulative to even Suggest it . I am Sure the President is Also in Agreement with that .

As a Commander in Chief, I don't put much faith in Bonespurs.

He's ineffectual at even keeping a loyal staff around for very long.

This constant attempt at trying to belittle our POTUS makes you look WEAK and pitiful.

As an Army Veteran, I fully put my faith in the POTUS. Besides, he holds the keys to the nukes and commands the greatest military machine on earth.

As for staff, why keep those who perform negatively? Considering Trumps history, this is how he rolls and truth is, it's brutal, but keeps the cycle fresh and innovative, also brings the spotlight.

Seriously, you're obsessed with him, I mean, one man has power over you to the point you have to acknowledge him, disparaging or not, emotionally charged, you just have to mention, Trump.
