The Democratic Party leadership and their control over their constituents..
"Do as I say , not as I do"
And they do.
Religiously with vigor.

Well, it IS technically a cult...

Both Hegel and Marx pointed out that if you wanted to control a population, you would need to take away the family unit and have people depend on the State.

Then you needed to get rid of their religion and REPLACE it with the State.

The State becomes your mother, your father and your God.

Taking care of you from cradle to grave.

I wish some on the left would take the time at least to read Hegel or Marx.

Maybe they'd wake up instead of just being mindless NPC's furthering the cause...

Of being owned.

Hence climate change science and the human effect. It's been proved humans do, so prove they don't.

No, No. This is false. This is exactly the point of belief, as aforementioned. The sophistication of our technology is undoing this as we speak. Not enough valid information. False assumptions.... Science will prevail only when we know.

Scientific proof data. I’ve looked at the garbage passing for data as as a scientist I’d be embarrassed to publish such tripe.

What would you believe if you don't believe science?

Huh?

I am a scientist doofus!

Doofus?

Nice, Db. I expected better from you than sophomoric #.

If you're a "scientist" you should acknowledge the actual science.

But I'm not holding out.

Priests believe God exists.

Do we trust priests?

Can god be directly, empirically measured, like, say....climate and weather?

Christ. All I ask for. Is is accurate data. And I get my dick yanked by weenie leftists who want effing communism.

That's all you have? You know the data, you've seen the data, but you reject it. If you want to be yanked...I think you said you had a wife and aren't paraplegic?

But but boogeymen communists.

The human effect of Climate Change has never been proven.

The science is there.

It is a belief by a very few scientists

Actually, by the scientific community, which is the majority.

OK... let's play math with you.

Of the 17,639 peer reviewed papers gone through by Cooke, she settled on 17 that thought that humans caused more than a minimal effect on the climate.

15 of those scientists thought that the human effect was over 50%

Which is where the 15 of 17 scientists thought that AGW was a real thing came from.

Your "majority of scientists"

While ignoring the other 17,622.

THAT's what I'm saying... if we just do a basic IQ test for voters, we wouldn't have a Democratic party anymore.

We CAN affect the climate. I don't know if there's any detrimental change, but you can watch as pollution bubbles near major cities slice incoming storms in half. (Seen that dozens and dozens of times when I lived in the city. I always pay attention to doppler radar.)

I'd consider that an affect.

PS When are we bringing back CFC's and hairspray?
Apparently we have an issue with too much ozone now? We banned CFC's because it was depleting ozone.

Seems like an open and shut case on that one...

I question the data because the data is false in many instances. As a scientist I would be ashamed to publish such tripe that you swallow like a freshman girl at her first fraternity party.

It's a sham. Kabuki Theatre. The entire global-climate-change- issue is a farce used to empower the socialists in government.

If you think the transference of wealth UN Agenda from the 1st world to the 3rd world that they're pushing for will be filter it's way through to the 3rd world poor you ain't living in the real world. Those same 1%'ers will be running the show in the 3rd world.Nothing to do with socialism or communism.

But keep throwing out the 60's bogeyman of communism as if that somehow explains the ills of the world or who is actually pushing the buttons behind the scenes.

www.forbes.com...

And as IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer admitted in November 2010, “…one has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth...”

If you have any doubt about this, some highlight events that took place during the U.N’s 2010 Cancun, Mexico Climate conference should be illuminating. After developing countries demanded that rich ones provide many billions of dollars to them for damage to the climate, U.S. and European representatives expressed willingness to provide their “fair share”, pledging $10 billion per year from 2010 to 2012. This offer was rejected as an insufficient insult, representatives of several undeveloped countries walked out of the meetings and angry riots broke out in the streets.

Meanwhile in the real non-binary world of capitalism/communism....you've drunk the kool-aid

www.theguardian.com...

The world’srichest 1% are on course to control as much as two-thirds of the world’s wealth by 2030, according to a shocking analysis that has lead to a cross-party call for action.

They wouldn't take him.

Strict immigration policies in communist and socialist countries...

You need to prove a good income and have a job going in.

You need to pay your 70% tax, after all... so you can't be a burden on the society as a whole.

And history be damned... just keep on being pissed off about people that have more then you do.

Just like you're programmed to do!

Because science.

Is a bunch of theories and hypothesis with nothing proven but based on well quite bluntly Guesses. In the 70's it was a Global Cooling now it heating blah blah blah. Here is some Other guesses or theories....the planet earth's proximity to planet x (niburu) (astronomy is also science,) the moon, the earth moving thru the center of the milky way, weather weapons (ever learn about HAARP?,) Cern weakening dimensional barriers, the wobble and so many more.

Nope it is Cows because of science, it is man made pollution (even tho there earth itself creates 10 fold the amount of pollution man does.)

Science (like statistics) state what those using it a matter of reference want it to.

Oh, we most certainly can locally!

I just don't see any evidence that we are changing the entire planet.

People I think don't get out much so they don't understand how big the planet is... they see a picture of a rain forest chopped own and think the world is ending.

On the other hand, the back of my property has an over 2 million acre national forest there.

I've wandered around there for a decade, miles and miles of nobody but trees.

So possibly it's an urban perspective.

I wish I could remember the ATS poster who said this;

Climate change is taking wealth from poor people in rich nations and giving it to the wealthy of poor nations.

Do you believe climate change is real?

I believe the climate changes, I’ve yet to see proof that man is responsible.

What proof do you need?

Do you believe the overwhelming consensus of scientists?

Do you mean the overwhelming, or do you mean the billions of dollars? Money is what's driving this whole issue of Human created climate change.

A pressure washer can slice a brick in half, so too can a drip leak.

Energy over time, has variations but if you believe that a volcano or an asteroid can edit the climate, then it's not a far stretch to imagine a 200 year old city, that is larger than a typical volcano, can eventually do the same.
