I listen to a lot of porn podcasts......

Somehow, it just isn't the same. I can't tell if people are having sex or just moving a bunch of heavy furniture.

Ha i am not sure if you are being serious or you are joking. Maybe some erotic stories would be nice. Cant really image my self listing to that while I am on my way to work in the morning on the bus. I dont want to be that weird guy on the bus with a stiffy.

You're assuming you'd be the only one on the bus with a "stiffy"....

Don't be so closed minded.

I've never got into podcasts, never really had the "time".

Seems to be something a lot of people like to do while spending a lot of time behind the wheel during their commute.

I just don't drive much and when I do I'll just light up a cigar and listen to music for the 20 or 30 minute drive(only like 10 miles, but I take country back roads). I've heard I'm missing out on some good stuff.

10 points for using the word stiffy! You must be an Aussie?

My all time favourite podcast is Hardcore History by Dan Carlin. Not conspiratorial or revisionist history but you will learn some things you were not taught in school!

Topics range from the Mongol conquests, WW1&2 (stories you THINK you know), the Celtic holocaust and so on.

Some are free, some you pay for but you will not be disappointed.

Then when I feel like being a work dork it’s Inside Inside Sales

I am Just starting to get into them. Everyone keeps talking about their podcasts and what not. I don’t think I ever got into them just because I have not found one that holds my attention.

As for avoiding the oldies and the drunks I’ll keep that in mind. It’s sad tho tho olds ones are supposed to have so much wisdom!

Haha. I’m actually not. I’m from California. I’m gonna add that to my list And check it out. I went to an unconventional high school never learned anything out of a text book so his podcasts seems to be right up my alley!

I was never really much of a podcast listener, but I did get a job that had me on the road very late at night. Seeing as talk radio was null where Im at I checked a few podcast and so glad I did. Why? Because I came across this gem.

Mysterious Universe

I dont know how old you are, but if you are old enough to remember Art Bell and his shows, you will find this to be similar. It is more of a modern version and it is produced by to Australian guys. They cover ALL KINDS of TOPICS. Honestly I learned a lot from this show. The great thing about the show is that isnt all serious. There is a good mix of humor included in all the shows.

They do interview folks, but only every so often. The show is in 2 parts basically. The first hour is free to listen, the 2nd $9.00 a month and it is worth every penny.

Hope this helps,, enjoy the show

I listen to podcasts all the time at work as much of what I do I don’t need to concentrate on that much. So here you go.

The Grimerica show. Features a guest interview on various alternative subjects and the guys always have chat/rant at the beginning.

The Higherside chats. Similar to above but the second half of the show is behind a paywall.

Skeptiko. Looks into consciousness and NDE’s various guests both for and against

The psychedelic Salon. Mostly covers talks by Terrence McKenna but also other interesting speakers.

The Ripple Effect Podcast. Often features James Corbett of the Corbett report as well as other insightful guests on current events and unraveling the movers and shakers behind them.

Tin Foil Hat. Comedian Sam Tripoly dives down various rabbit holes.

Me and Paranormal You. Another comedian interested in all things paranormal.

Duncan Trussle Family Hour. You might think you have tuned into the ramblings of an insane person when you first listen to this one! In fact he’s another comic exploring his spiritual journey with various insightful guests.

Joe Rogan. If you get bored of the above

I heart radio has a podcast channel and you can listen to morons talk about how to get rid of bonespurs, toenail fungus and pesky rodents all with cheap and readily available household chemicals.
And the audio cooking with Mel is entertaining.
