Good! The last person railing against Trump wouldn't answer my questions; maybe you will.
Since both obama and trump made the same idiotic thing, can we already assume that
"both current and previous presidents are equally corrupt?"
No, I can't assume that at all.
So far all we know is that someone supposedly in the state department has accused Trump of wrongdoing during a conversation with someone in the
Ukraine government. We don't know what was said, when it was said, or who heard him say it.
We do know a few things about the Obama administration. We know that high-ranking officials in the FBI used a known fake dossier compiled by a UK spy
and paid for by Trump's opposition to obtain and maintain FISA warrants to spy on American citizens in the Trump campaign.
We know that the FBI Director under Obama not only lied to the President, but withheld information from him as well; stole FBI documents from an FBI
computer documenting official FBI business and tried to claim them as his own personal property; purposely leaked FBI information to a third party
with express intent to to have that information relayed to the media in order to start an investigation into said President.
We know the results of that investigation revealed that there was not enough evidence to support the accusations made of Russian collusion.
Now... what warrants have been issued against American citizens using known fake information under Trump? What investigations have been launched by
leaking official information to the media?
You see, this is the problem... the law needs to be followed regardless of who violates it, but even moreso, it must... MUST!
consistent! It either applies to everyone or to no one. Michael Flynn is in prison for lying to the FBI... OK, fine, sounded like a setup but he did
do the crime. Inspector General Horowitz found evidence that James Comey did worse than Michael Flynn, and somehow he is still walking free? President
Trump was plagued by an extensive investigation into every aspect of his campaign activities for over two of his four year term... fine, investigate
away. But that investigation was unable to prove any charges sufficient to impeach. Joe Biden actually is on record as bragging about using US monies
to receive personal favors from Ukraine... and this is Trump's fault and Trump must be impeached over Biden's actions?
No, that dog don't hunt. Either the law applies to all or it applies to none. Take your pick at this point, but remember the establishment made the
decision... the establishment will be held to that decision. Don't like it? Tough.
Now, can you answer my initial concerns, or would you like to call me names like the previous poster?
